"A hidden talent, I see." Li tasted the pudding joyfully and looked at Jinsheng: "Tell me, am I your first dessert taster?"
"Congratulations, Mr. Li, you are." Jinsheng replied playfully.
Su Ye, lagging behind, quickly tasted the pudding and raised his eyes in confusion: "Not sweet?"
"The high praise for a dessert is that it's not sweet," Jinsheng answered with a smile.
Su Ye, who always tripled the sugar in any dessert he made, stayed silent for a moment before dryly asking: "Actually, you don't like sweet things, do you?"
"I do enjoy them, just some things are overly sweet," Jinsheng shook her head and explained.
"I get it," Su Ye replied, lowering his head.
Seeing his reaction, Jinsheng knew exactly what he was thinking.
She stood up and flicked his forehead: "You thought I loved sweets because when you first arrived, the bitter gourd you made was too bitter."
"I won't use bitter gourd for you again," Su Ye quickly explained.
