They were normal fox-themed children's books, after all, so there was no need to ignore them as he was planning to do with the romances. And it was his way of responding to Remi, showing him that he wasn't against the fox's secret visits.

He sighed, and put the book aside, getting up to open the door. With the jasmine scent hanging in the air, he was reluctant to let Kade into the room. It probably made no difference, since it seemed that the Alpha had already noticed it earlier, but still. Until he figured out how to handle the situation, it was better to keep him away.
