Morena spent a while investigating the mine area. She did not move closer, nor did she try to speak with the guards standing watch near the barrier.
The mine entrance was blocked, but not sealed; that would make it easier for her to get in when she eventually had to. The guards didn't seem very anxious, but they also kept their hands on their weapons and stayed a distance from the opening.
'They seem wary.'
The path leading to the mine was mostly empty, and the wagon tracks were old, though some were fresher near the barrier. Likely guards, officials, or people bringing supplies.

Morena's gaze moved toward the entrance again.
The flow of elemental energy was denser there, but from this distance, she could not tell much more. She considered using Sensory Pulse for a moment. It would give her a better layout of the space near the entrance, perhaps even a rough impression of what lingered inside.
