Morena spent the remaining few hours going over details of Memory Mark and preparing anything else she needed.
The spell was not complicated in appearance, but like most Mental spells, the difficulty came from the details. It required the caster to touch something, leave a small mental mark behind, and maintain that mark through mana.
Useful, but not something she could rely on yet.

With that matter settled, she packed the two spell books carefully, checked her badge, and left her room. The halls were active, but she did not stop to speak with anyone.
By the time she reached Verra's room, she was already expecting her.
"Enter."
Morena stepped inside and noticed Verra sat at her desk, reading over a sheet of paper. Several items had already been placed beside her: a rolled map, a pouch, a folded document, and a narrow wooden case.
The woman looked up the moment Morena entered.
