It was like taking an online class.
A man on screen chanted an incantation while crossing his arms in front of his chest. As the spell left his lips in a steady murmur, a wall of fire surged up in a three-meter radius. Its base glowed with molten gold and crimson, gradually brightening as it rose until it turned into translucent blue flames licking at the air.
"Whoa! Now that's way cooler than Fireball!"
Ava immediately watched it again, this time even more attentively. Hm, the gesture looked pretty simple. The incantation, though, was kind of a tongue-twister.
Thankfully, thanks to being a game player, she perhaps had the innate ability to pronounce spells correctly. After repeating it silently to herself several times, Ava felt confident enough. She cleared her throat and waved Kyle over.
