Chapter 177 - Hidden Treasure

Image At the End!

---

By the time we finished, we had tried every position known to man. Our bodies were slick with sweat, muscles aching from exertion, but neither of us cared.

Rumi lay sprawled on top of me, her breath still heavy, her silver hair damp and tangled. I ran a lazy hand down her back, tracing the defined muscles, savoring the feeling of her bare skin against mine.

She let out a tired but satisfied grumble, shifting slightly so that her chest pressed more firmly against me. "What is the score?" she muttered, voice rough from all the screaming and moaning she'd done throughout the night.

I smirked, dragging my fingers along her spine. "I win."

She scoffed, lifting her head to glare at me with those fiery crimson eyes. "Liar."

Before I could respond, she bit down on my shoulder… so hard it made me grunt, but not enough to truly hurt. More of a warning, a promise that she wasn't done yet.

I snorted a laugh, shaking my head. "Still trying to fight even after I wrecked you?"

Her smirk widened, her fangs just barely scraping against my skin. "You are the one who is wrecked, dumbass. I could go another round."

I raised a brow. "Oh? Then why are you lying on top of me like you can't move?"

She tensed, pushing herself up onto her elbows, trying to act unaffected… but the moment she shifted her legs, her breath hitched, and I felt it. The slight tremble in her thighs, the way her body still clenched around the memory of me inside her.

I chuckled, gripping her waist and flipping her onto her back in one swift motion. She gasped, eyes widening for a split second before her usual cocky grin returned.

"Admit it," I murmured, brushing my lips over her collarbone. "I made you come more times than you can count."

She arched a brow. "And? That just means you worked harder. I let you."

I laughed, nipping at the soft skin of her throat, making her shiver. "Next time, I will make sure you can't stand."

The next morning, I was halfway between waking up and trying to ignore the world when my phone buzzed. I blindly reached for it, barely cracking an eye open.

Ryukyu: "Rest day. Beach. Hidden cove. Be ready in an hour."

I stared at the message, brain still booting up. "A rest day?" At a private beach? With how much bullshit we had been dealing with lately, it sounded too good to be true.

Mirko groaned next to me, shifting slightly. "The hell is that?"

"Ryukyu," I muttered. "Says we are hitting a beach Selkie knows. Hidden spot, private."

She let out a noncommittal grunt. "Mmm. Sounds fake."

I nudged her. "You coming?"

"Nah," she muttered into the pillow.

I rolled over and grabbed her ankle. "Cool. Then I will drag you there."

She groaned, kicking lazily. "Fuck off."

I didn't let go. Instead, I yanked her clean off the bed. She hit the floor with a solid thud.

"Son of a…"

"Shower," I said, already dragging her toward the bathroom. "I will throw you in there myself if I have to."

She tried to grab the doorframe, but I yanked harder, making her lose her grip. "You are the worst," she muttered.

"That is what they keep telling me."

She kicked at me again but didn't fight too hard when I pushed her into the shower. I turned the water on… cold, just to be a dick. She hissed, swearing as she shoved me back.

My dick was still half-hard from remembering last night. If she bent over in that shower, I would be late for the beach because round thousand was happening.

"Fucking psycho!"

I smirked. "Hurry up, princess."

I left her there and went to get ready myself.

By the time we got to the rendezvous point, the others were already waiting. Nejire was practically bouncing on her toes, chatting with Tsuyu and Uraraka, while Ryukyu was leaning against a railing, checking something on her phone.

Nejire spotted me first and immediately beamed. "Finally! What took you so long?"

I stretched. "Had to drag Mirko out of bed."

Mirko cracked her neck. "Should've just left me."

"You would've been bored alone," I said.

She snorted but didn't argue.

Selkie and his crew were already there, prepping the boat. He waved us over. "Glad you all could make it. This place is a real hidden gem."

Ryukyu nodded. "We could use the break."

"Some more than others," I muttered.

Mirko flicked my ear.

We loaded onto the boat, and the ride wasn't long. The ocean stretched out around us, endless and open, the water a deep blue. The sun was already climbing higher, the breeze cutting through the warmth.

Then, the cove came into view.

Tucked between rocky cliffs, the beach was hidden from sight, untouched. White sand, clear water, and, most importantly, no crowds.

"Okay," Mirko admitted, "not bad."

Nejire threw her arms up. "Beach day!"

Uraraka grinned. "This place is insane."

Tsuyu tilted her head. "It really is hidden."

Ryukyu gave Selkie a nod. "Good call."

A private beach. No civilians. No villains. No rules. If Nejire didn't start a cult here by sunset, I would be surprised.

We hopped off the boat, feet hitting warm sand. Nejire immediately started stripping down to her swimsuit, practically vibrating with excitement. Uraraka followed, though with less enthusiasm.

Mirko sat down and stretched her legs out. "I am napping."

I kicked some sand her way. "Lame."

She flipped me off.

Nejire grabbed my wrist. "C'mon, Ryuu! Water time!"

I sighed. "Let me breathe for five seconds."

"Nope!"

She dragged me toward the waves, Tsuyu and Uraraka following behind. The water was perfect… cool but not freezing, just enough to take the heat off.

We spent the next hour in chaos. Nejire started a splash war. Uraraka somehow got stuck floating upside down. Tsuyu disappeared underwater for an unsettling amount of time before popping up behind Mirko and scaring the shit out of her.

Mirko, in revenge, launched her ten feet into the air.

I watched it all unfold, leaning back in the water. "This is the most peaceful we've been in weeks."

Nejire swam over, resting her arms on my shoulders. "See? Breaks are nice!"

I rolled my eyes but didn't argue.

Eventually, we crawled back onto the sand. Selkie and his crew had set up some food, grilled fish and other quick snacks.

Ugh, no fish. The snacks were good though. A little too good. Then I looked at Selkie, squinting. "You eat fish?"

He raised an eyebrow. "Why shouldn't I?"

I shrugged. "Dunno. Seems like something you wouldn't."

Tsuyu's tongue shot out, smacking my arm hard. "Don't be rude."

I turned to her, still chewing. "While I am at it, can you swim in saltwater?"

She blinked. "Yes?"

"Huh. Thought it would dehydrate you or some shit."

Nejire, who had been stealing food off my plate, hummed. "Do you dehydrate faster?"

Tsuyu shook her head. "Not really. I just have to be careful not to stay in too long."

Uraraka leaned forward. "What happens if you do?"

"Nothing serious," Tsuyu said. "I just feel a little sluggish after a while."

Nejire nodded like she just learned some profound fact. "So, no salt baths for you."

Mirko, who had been busy inhaling a plate of food, huffed. "Y'all ask the dumbest shit."

I pointed a mushroom at her. "You are just mad no one is asking about rabbit biology."

She rolled her eyes, grabbing another skewer. "Because I am not a goddamn rabbit."

"Could've fooled me," I muttered, dodging the piece of fish she threw at my face. Ugh, fish.

Selkie chuckled, shaking his head. "You two fight like an old married couple."

Mirko side-eyed him. "I will drown you."

He smirked. "You can try."

Ryukyu ignored all of us, focused on her food. I was pretty sure she had developed selective hearing by now. Smart woman.

Nejire flopped onto her back in the sand, stretching out. "We should play something."

Uraraka took a sip of her drink. "Like what?"

Nejire hummed, twirling a strand of hair. "Something competitive. I wanna win."

Mirko cracked her knuckles. "Good luck with that."

Nejire grinned. "Oh, you are challenging me?"

Mirko smirked. "I win at everything."

Uraraka squinted. "Didn't you lose to Ryuu in arm wrestling?"

Mirko scowled. "That was one time."

I stretched my legs out. "She also lost to me in that obstacle course."

Nejire gasped dramatically. "Oh my god, that is true."

Mirko muttered something under her breath, probably plotting my murder.

Tsuyu tilted her head. "What kind of game?"

Nejire sat up, tapping her chin. "Something beachy. Like volleyball."

Mirko smirked. "You are gonna get wrecked."

Nejire pouted. "I am very athletic!"

Ryukyu, finally looking up, sighed. "Just don't break anything."

Selkie clapped his hands. "Alright, teams of four."

Uraraka immediately pointed at Tsuyu. "You and me."

Nejire grabbed my arm. "You are mine."

Mirko stretched. "I will take Ryukyu."

That left Selkie and Sirius. He grinned, flexing. "Guess we are with you two."

Mirko eyed him. "Don't hold us back."

Selkie laughed. "Oh, you have no idea what you just signed up for."

We set up the net while Nejire bounced on her toes, already hyping herself up. "Losers buy dinner."

Mirko smirked. "Deal."

The game started fast. Tsuyu and Uraraka worked well together, using their quirks to cover ground fast. Mirko, being a menace, spiked the ball with enough force to nearly take Nejire's head off. I had to dive more than once just to keep it in play.

Mirko spiked the ball so hard it created a mini sandstorm. "Eat it!"

Nejire yelped, diving just in time.

"You trying to commit murder or win a game?" I called.

Mirko smirked. "Why not both?"

Selkie, true to his word, was surprisingly good. Dude had fast reflexes, moving like the ball was part of his mission briefing.

Nejire, though? She was playing like a woman possessed. Every time Mirko scored, Nejire came back harder, determined not to lose.

Halfway through, we were tied.

"Match point," Mirko called, smirking. "Bet you choke."

Nejire cracked her knuckles. "Eat sand, rabbit."

The serve was fast. I set up, launching the ball toward Nejire. She spiked it straight at Mirko.

Mirko lunged. Barely got it.

Ryukyu sent it back.

I jumped, slamming the ball down.

It hit the sand.

Game over.

Nejire screamed in victory, tackling me. "WE WON!"

Mirko scowled. "Tch."

Selkie clapped. "Damn. Good game."

Ryukyu sighed. "I can't believe we lost."

Nejire grinned. "And that means…"

Mirko groaned. "Yeah, yeah. We are buying."

Uraraka fist-pumped. "Hell yeah, free food!"

Tsuyu nodded. "Worth it."

I smirked, side-eying Mirko. "Don't cry too hard about that free dinner, princess."

She flicked sand at me. "Careful, brat. I will bury you alive and no one will find the body."

"Promises, promises."
