Alpha Derrick's POV
I felt like punching him in the face, but I held myself back and gritted my teeth. "He is not for sale," I said firmly, leaving no room for argument.
But Elliot wasn't taking it. "Come on, man… don't be selfish… name it… how much do you need me to pay… it's just for an hour and I promise to be gentle with him… there will be no marks on his beautiful body… I promise."
Anger and irritation filled my entire being, and I felt like exploding, but once again I held myself back and just took a step forward so that he could be the only one to hear what I was about to say.
I leaned in, my voice cold and low, meant only for him. "You touch him, Elliot, and I swear you won't live to regret it."
His smirk faltered for a split second, but he recovered quickly, trying to play it cool. "You're acting like he's your mate or something."
"He's under my protection," I growled, barely keeping my wolf at bay. "And that means off limits. To everyone."
