"Can you dive?" Lethia asked Zeran with anxious eyes as he stepped out of the bathroom.
"Why? Are you impressed?" His cheeky soft smirk clashed against the firm muscles lining his torso, pressed tight under the latex suit.
"Don't worry, miss. Mr. Zeran has a professional diving license," Derreck added as he followed him out.
Lethia frowned. "You too?"
Derreck only nodded with a smile, then leaned closer to whisper, "If he ever gets kicked from Tuffin, he plans to retire and become a diving guide for tourists at Aidos Beach."
The joke didn't sound funny in Lethia's ears.
"You don't need to do this just for that sea urchin. I can eat whatever's given to me," she said softly as she stepped closer to Zeran.
But the father of her pup wasn't exactly a good listener. He only turned, stroking the bump of her stomach with gentleness.
