Andrew froze in his place; his face flushed in embarrassment as Elio's words stuck in his mind. He realized everyone caught him lying but didn't say a thing. At this knowledge, the desire to just dig a hole and bury himself burned through him.
What might they have been thinking about him? He didn't know how he was supposed to face them. Elio, understanding Andrew's embarrassment, whispered reassuringly,
"Don't worry. None of us mind it. It was rather interesting."
'None of you mind, but I do.' Andrew muttered in his mind as he didn't know what to do.
Andrew rubbed his face with his palm as he wondered how he was going to handle it. And most importantly, at present, he could sense that if they stayed on this topic a little longer, he was going to embarrass himself more.
So, Andrew needed to change the topic ASAP. He turned his gaze away from Elio and licked his lips before stating the first thing that came into his mind.
"Anyway, how long have you had this place?"
