Everything went in a blur after Luca finally sped through the hospital's main entrance and slammed the brakes, making the car skid violently across the pavement, barely stopping an inch from the curb.
The moment the car stopped in front of the hospital, the doctors and nurses who were already at the entrance waiting for them rushed toward them. Luca flung open the door and immediately stepped out of the car before hurriedly going to the backseat.
The doctors and nurses moved urgently as stretchers and medical equipment were hastily wheeled closer. As Luca opened the backseat door quickly, the medics, with Luca's help, swiftly and carefully lifted Nicholas from Isabella's lap and laid him on the stretchers.
