"Good morning, Alpha Sokolov," Elder Darius greeted him with a smile, a smile that Killian couldn't return. Not when he could feel his chest ache, even though Tracy kept telling him that he didn't form an imprinting bond with Inez; the tugging and pulling within his heart made him draw a sharp breath every next second. He knew that there was something wrong with Inez. He knew that she was hurting. Somehow, he could feel it in the marrow of his bones.
He didn't care what Tracy said about the imprinting bond not even being present.
He knew that it was right there, and he could feel it pulse within him. If there was no bond between him and Inez, how would he know that she was hurt and afraid?
And yet, instead of looking for her, Killian was dragged to the council by Finn and the rest of the enforcers, because apparently, this was way more important than looking for Inez.
You are overthinking, Kill. If she were hurt, then don't you think she would have called you?
