But Tracy didn't even flinch. She squeezed past him and came to stand between the two of them. Inez didn't know what the woman was trying to do by becoming a physical barrier between the two of them.
She stared hard at Killian, who stared right back, his lips tightening. He loomed over the witch with his tall and mountain-like stature before stating in a low voice, "You cannot disregard my command like that. I am the alpha of this pack; the council allows me to decide on whom I give a place in my territory. And I don't agree to letting you stay here, so you'd better get the fuck out when I am being nice."
"Oooh, I feel so scared now that you have gotten that out," Tracy sneered, her voice turning dangerously low. "First of all, you might be the alpha of this pack, but Inez is supposed to be the Luna as well, right? And I am telling you here and now, the Luna allowed me to stay with her, which means that I have the right to be here without being cornered by you or anyone else."
