"I am alright," Dominic replied. In truth, he was anything but fine, but honestly, he didn't want to get down and tell Luca about the anger and rage that his wolf felt toward him. Nor did he want to discuss the blame game that was going on between him and his wolf. There was a very good chance that Luca might just agree with his wolf. 

Since that was the case, what was the point in even discussing something that would eventually hurt him? 

"Are you sure?" Lucas asked. His eyebrows were creased, and he clearly seemed to be worried about him and yet Dominic couldn't bear to bare his thoughts to his childhood friend. He knew that there was no point in doing it. Luca would never understand him. 

Friends, they might be. Luca's feelings might be just as explosive as his own when it came to Inez.
