As Mia stepped out of the restroom, her gaze met Levi's concerned one. Though Mia tried to smile, she just couldn't bring herself to smile at the man. The last three hours were chaotic. For the first time, she had been brought to the police station and even gone through an interrogation.
And that wasn't all. Maybe Ryan wanted to break her psychologically, as if he were certain that she was the culprit, which was why he made her stay behind and listen to the psychologist and coroner's reports.
'This man must have some deep feud with a woman with green eyes and honey-blonde hair. Most probably, he must have been rejected by her or something along those lines because the murder seems much more personal than just chaotic.'
