Chapter 115 - #115Chapter 115 Regulus Black

"R.A.B.?"

Dumbledore muttered the name, his gaze unconsciously drifting towards Tom, who was currently engaged in a friendly magic exchange with Grindelwald.

Although a certain someone was a cheat, a liar, and probably didn't have a single truthful word in ten, and had recently become completely unhinged and without a bottom line, Dumbledore still had a feeling that asking Tom would definitely get him an answer.

Putting the note back into the locket, Dumbledore called out to Grindelwald and Tom, "Alright, that's enough, stop now."

Hearing the call, the two who were having a friendly match gave Dumbledore face and slowly stopped their exchange.

"Expelliarmus!"

But the moment Grindelwald stopped, Tom immediately cast an Expelliarmus.

This time, however, Grindelwald seemed to have been prepared, deflecting the Expelliarmus directly.

"Tom, do you think the same move will work on me a second time? Though, speaking of which, you really like using Expelliarmus."

Dumbledore also stepped forward and patted Tom's shoulder, "Stop messing around, Tom, there's something I want to ask you."

Seeing this, Tom very consciously put away his wand, "What is it, Professor? I'll tell you everything I know."

"So, do you know who R.A.B. is?"

Dumbledore handed the fake locket to Tom and asked.

"R.A.B.? Yes, I know."

Hearing Tom say this, Dumbledore's face lit up with joy; his intuition was indeed correct.

However, Tom's next sentence made him frown involuntarily.

"Professor, didn't you just see R.A.B. just now, right here?"

R.A.B. is here?

Dumbledore couldn't help but look around. Everyone was here: Moody, Grindelwald, Tom, and even himself. None of them fit the description. It couldn't be a House-elf, could it?

Thinking of this, Dumbledore shook his head with a laugh, feeling that he had been with Tom for too long and was becoming unreliable.

"So, Professor, you still haven't figured out who R.A.B. is? Do you want a hint? It's not a living person."

Dumbledore tried to recall every scene after entering the cave and seeing Tom. He suddenly remembered the first thing Tom said after he entered the cave, and a guess formed in his mind. He asked tentatively, "Is it Regulus Black?"

"Bingo! That's right! It's Regulus Arcturus Black, too bad there's no reward." Tom took Regulus out of his storage space and placed him in front of Dumbledore.

"You knew all along?"

Dumbledore looked at Regulus on the ground, then at Tom, wanting to know how much this guy knew and if he knew about the locket being switched from the beginning.

"How could I? It was only just now, when you asked me about R.A.B., Professor, that I thought of this guy who looks a lot like Sirius and whom I dug out of a pile of Inferi. As for what he did before, don't ask me, I don't know anything."

Tom looked directly at Dumbledore, his eyes full of sincerity, without the slightest hint of guilt.

Dumbledore sighed. It seemed he couldn't get any more information from Tom, but now that he knew who R.A.B. was, things would be much easier. At least the clue hadn't been broken.

Seeing that things were pretty much done here and there was no point in staying, Tom bid farewell to Dumbledore: "Professor, since there's nothing else, I'll take Regulus's body to Sirius first."

"Wait!" Dumbledore, startled, quickly stopped Tom, "Let me take him. Regulus's body still needs to be dealt with, and it's so late, Tom, you should go back to Hogwarts early."

"You mean to purify the Dark Arts on Regulus?" Tom looked at Dumbledore, "Don't worry, there are few people in the magic world more proficient in White magic than me. I will handle it well."

"Besides, Mr. Moody is still forgotten over there. If he's not sent to St. Mungo's soon, he'll probably really die. Are you really going to silence him, Professor?"

What the hell do you mean, silence him? I'm just afraid you'll talk nonsense in front of Sirius and Remus.

But Tom didn't give Dumbledore another chance to stop him, directly having the House-elf Grey take him away by Apparition.

...

In Sirius's apartment

"Sirius, what's wrong?"

Lupin handed a glass of water to the restless Sirius and asked with concern.

"I don't know, but for some reason, I feel empty inside today, as if something bad has happened."

"Maybe you're just too tired. Besides Professor Dumbledore's incident, nothing big seems to have happened in the magic world recently, and Harry is also doing well at Hogwarts. Don't think too much, maybe a good night's sleep will fix it."

Just as Lupin was comforting Sirius, there was a loud knock on the door.

"Who is it at this hour?"

Sirius mumbled, about to go open the door, but Lupin pulled him back, shook his head, and instinctively pulled out his wand, ready for defense.

"It might be a Dark Wizard. It's better to be careful."

Sirius nodded, also pulling out his wand.

Just then, the knocking stopped.

As Sirius and Lupin were about to check the situation, the door suddenly exploded open.

"Confringo!"

"Confringo!"

Sirius and Lupin instinctively cast spells, two Blasting Curses flying out directly.

The Blasting Curses were easily blocked, and seeing green light emanating from the other party's wand, Sirius and Lupin finally recognized the person and quickly shouted, "Tom, stop! It's us."

After hearing Sirius and Lupin's shouts, Tom withdrew the green light: "Oh, you're home. There was no response when I knocked, so I thought something had happened to you."

Sirius, who had narrowly escaped, thought of their overreaction and apologized sheepishly, "I'm sorry, Tom, we overreacted just now."

"It's fine, it's fine."

Seeing that Tom didn't care at all, Sirius breathed a sigh of relief. If Tom had been injured because of them, their sin would have been great.

But Lupin's face became serious at this point: "Tom, just now, you wanted to use the Killing Curse, didn't you? Where did you learn it?"

"Huh?" Tom hadn't expected Lupin to ask that and quickly explained, "I learned it at Hogwarts, it's very practical."

After thinking for a moment, he added, "Besides the Killing Curse, Defense Against the Dark Arts Class also teaches Crucio, Imperio, Fiendfyre, and various other Dark Arts. Oh, and Harry is quite good at them."

"..."

This left Lupin and Sirius speechless.

Are you sure you're talking about Hogwarts and not Azkaban? Why is your Hogwarts so different from their Hogwarts?

And they wondered if it was still too late for Harry, who was quickly turning into a Dark Wizard, to transfer schools.

As Sirius and Lupin were still in shock, Tom went straight to the point.

"Alright, let's get down to business. I'm here today to deliver something to Sirius."

As Tom's words fell, a coffin appeared in Sirius's apartment.
