The next morning, Tom woke up in Gryffindor Tower.
Feeling the warm sunlight streaming in through the window, Tom once again felt resentment towards Salazar Slytherin. Why did he have to choose the dungeon for the dormitory back then? Now that winter was here, he couldn't even see the sun, which was truly miserable.
For the first time, Tom felt that being sorted into Gryffindor wasn't so bad after all.
Just as Tom was feeling sentimental, he heard Harry's excited shout: "Tom, what are you doing standing there? Come on, open your presents!"
Tom rubbed his still-waking head and yawned as he walked over: "My presents aren't here, Harry. You can just open yours."
Harry pointed to a pile of presents on the other side of the Christmas tree: "Those are yours."
After carefully checking the cards on the presents, Tom found that they really were his: "As expected of the magic world! What kind of GPS is this? It actually managed to locate me here precisely."
"Let me see what we have... This is a handmade gift from Millia and Anna, much improved from last year... Harry, look, isn't it beautiful?"
"This is 'Throne of Power' from Draco... No way, what is this guy thinking..."
"Hmm... 'The Origin of magic' from Hermione, interesting..."
"A crystal ball... From Neville, huh? I'll put it away for now; it'll be useful for Divination Class later..."
"Huh? Is this from you, Harry? A wand care kit... Very practical, thank you..."
Tom unwrapped his presents one by one. This was his first time receiving so many gifts. They came from STARGAZER, Slytherin, and familiar students from other houses, and there was even a copy of 'magic and Mind' from Dumbledore.
Unconsciously, in just a few months, Tom found that he had intersected with so many people.
For boys of any age, the joy of unwrapping presents is indescribable. Tom hummed happily, thoroughly enjoying the joyful time, and before he knew it, he reached the last present.
"Such a luxurious gift box... It must be Cassandra's... It's a bracelet, so beautiful... No, wait, this isn't just a bracelet, it's also a defensive magic item... As expected of the young lady, she's so generous."
Wearing the bracelet on his right wrist, Tom pulled out his STARGAZER badge and sent a message in the top group chat: "Thank you all for the gifts, Merry Christmas!"
After a moment of thought, he called Cassandra separately.
"Beep... Beep... Beep..."
After the signal connected, a girl's sleepy, lazy voice came from the badge: "What time is it? Why are you contacting me so early? Is something wrong?"
Tom's tone carried a hint of pampering that even he hadn't noticed, and he gently said to Cassandra: "Merry Christmas! And the bracelet is very beautiful, I will cherish it my whole life."
On the other end of the call, Cassandra's face turned crimson, her head almost steaming, and her voice became flustered and exaggerated: "Of course, would my taste be bad... A lifetime is too exaggerated, it's just an ordinary bracelet... And it's good that you like it..."
Cassandra's voice grew softer and softer as she spoke, finally hanging up hastily and burying herself completely in her quilt.
Tom smiled, put away his badge. He turned to look at Harry and found him staring at the black cloak in his hand, studying it.
"An invisibility cloak, you can conceal yourself by wearing it." Looking at the invisibility cloak in Harry's hand, Tom's eyes lit up.
Harry heard Tom's explanation and tried putting the invisibility cloak on himself, then was surprised to find that the parts of his body covered by the cloak became invisible.
"How magical! Who sent this?" Harry was puzzled about the sender of the gift.
Even though he hadn't been in the magic world for long, Harry could still understand the value of this gift, so he couldn't guess who would send him such a precious gift.
"Dumbledore!" Tom didn't let Harry guess wildly and directly revealed the answer.
Now it was Harry's turn to be surprised: "You mean Professor Dumbledore? But why would he send me such a valuable gift?"
"That's because it was originally yours. The ancestor of the Potter family was Ignotus Peverell, and this invisibility cloak has been passed down from him generation to generation. Its previous owner was your father, and Dumbledore is merely returning it to its rightful owner."
Tom quickly explained the origin and history of the invisibility cloak to Harry, then couldn't suppress his urge to complain: "Speaking of which, Harry, you really haven't learned anything about your family all this time. How little do you think of the Potter family?"
Harry's face turned red at Tom's words, and his little feet kept scraping the floor.
Tom didn't let Harry feel awkward, reaching out to point at the invisibility cloak on Harry: "Can I see it, Harry?"
Harry readily pulled off the invisibility cloak and handed it to Tom.
The moment Tom took the mercury-smooth invisibility cloak from Harry's hand, he felt as if the invisibility cloak was attracted by something, stirring restlessly in his hand.
'This is...' Tom, sensing something, calmly suppressed the invisibility cloak and entered his storage space to check.
Sure enough, the elder wand and resurrection stone, which had been lying quietly inside, began to tremble slightly.
Just as Tom was about to lose his grip on the invisibility cloak, Harry noticed his abnormality and asked with concern: "Tom, are you alright?"
"Harry, I'm fine. But could you lend me the invisibility cloak for a day? I'll return it tonight?" Seeing that he was about to lose his grip, Tom quickly made the request to Harry.
Harry didn't suspect anything and generously agreed: "Of course, it's fine even if you return it a few days later. But Tom, do you need my help?"
Tom shook his head, indicating no need, and thanked him again, then quickly rushed out of the Gryffindor common room with the invisibility cloak, not even taking his Christmas presents.
After leaving the Gryffindor common room, Tom quickly threw the invisibility cloak into his storage space, then returned to the Slytherin dormitory at the fastest speed.
By the time Tom returned to his own room and locked the door, he let out a long breath and eagerly pulled out the deathly hallows trio from his storage space.
The elder wand, resurrection stone, and invisibility cloak seemed to be pulled by some invisible force, naturally forming the symbol of the deathly hallows in mid-air.
However, after forming the deathly hallows symbol, the trio showed no further abnormality.
Tom waited quietly for a long time, seeing no reaction, but his intuition told him that something had already appeared. After a moment of thought, he raised his wand.
"Revelio!"
As the spell fell, the invisible image was stained with a layer of ink, appearing in the air.
"This is... a pyramid?"
