In one city on the plains, bustling with life, panic struck as the earth split open. A massive crack ripped through the streets, and before the stunned onlookers could react, a jet of black light erupted from the depths, engulfing the entire city.
Bodies burst apart like overripe fruit, flesh and blood raining down as screams filled the air.
The sight froze survivors in shock. Many stared blankly at the carnage—friends, family, and strangers alike exploding into crimson mist right beside them. Terror spread like wildfire.
The city fell into chaos as people desperately fled toward the gates, but the black light spread too fast. Blood mist engulfed everything, drowning the city in gore.
Above, the blood mist coalesced into a crimson current, rising into the heavens and feeding the vast formation blanketing the Central Plains.
Hun Tiandi's eyes glimmered with excitement, ignoring the countless dead.
"At last… I can use this formation to help me refine the Emperor Nascent Pill. I took the risk—now, the reward is finally mine."
A calm voice suddenly rang out behind him, shattering his moment of triumph.
"You really are insane."
Hun Tiandi's smile froze. Slowly, stiffly, he turned.
And there stood Goku.
His face drained of color.
"You… How are you here? Didn't Hun Qian Mo and the others keep you occupied…?"
"Keep me occupied? Do you really think that's possible?"
Goku's eyes were cold, his killing intent so overwhelming it nearly suffocated Hun Tiandi. Even with his immense strength, he felt crushed, his body heavy, his face pale.
"Damn it! I won't lose now— not when I've come this far!" Hun Tiandi roared, his hands flashing through seals.
Above, the blood-red formation churned violently. A colossal pillar of blood descended, so powerful it shattered space itself, leaving behind a vast vacuum. The ground below collapsed into a massive abyss, thousands of meters deep.
Hun Tiandi laughed wildly at the devastation.
"Even you won't walk away unscathed from that attack! Hahaha! Did you think I came unprepared?"
But then, a calm voice echoed from the abyss.
"Is that all you've got?"
A golden aura blazed upward as Goku emerged, completely unharmed, floating across from Hun Tiandi. His indifferent eyes looked down on him as if he were no more than an insect.
"You—" Hun Tiandi's furious shout cut off with a choking gasp. A powerful hand pierced space itself, clamping around his throat.
"I've had enough of you buzzing in front of me like a fly," Goku's voice was cold, merciless. "It's time for you to die."
Hun Tiandi's eyes widened in terror.
Black-and-red energy flared from his body as he struggled, but no matter how he resisted, Goku's grip was immovable.
For the first time, his heart quaked with true fear. The once unshakable Hun Tiandi realized—he had provoked an existence far beyond his understanding.
A golden glow flared. Goku's hand pierced clean through his chest, leaving not a drop of blood.
Hun Tiandi's body went slack. His pupils contracted as disbelief twisted his face.
'So weak… compared to him, I really am an ant.'
"This… this is the power of the Dou God? No wonder they say beneath the God, all are ants…" He coughed, voice trembling, unwillingness burning in his tone.
"If… if I had refined the Emperor Nascent Pill… If I had broken through… I wouldn't have lost… Not even for a single instant… Damn it! I can't die like this—I refuse!"
Then, a new voice echoed within his chest—ancient, steady, filled with power.
"Then let us become one."
Golden light burst from his pierced heart as the pill within him awakened. The Emperor Nascent Pill had not been refined—at the brink of his death, it stirred.
Its brilliance wrapped Hun Tiandi completely, drowning out the stench of blood with intoxicating pill fragrance.
"Damn you… Emperor Nascent Pill! You want to steal my body? Over my dead body!" Hun Tiandi roared.
"No," the ancient voice replied. "I will not steal your body. I will give you my strength. You do not wish to die. And I refuse to fade away. So let us join forces… For he is our common enemy."
Hun Tiandi's eyes flickered. Then a cruel grin twisted his face.
"A common enemy… Heh… As long as I live, as long as I can defeat him… Very well. Come!"
The golden light devoured him whole, its terrifying aura growing stronger with every heartbeat.
From afar, Goku smirked.
"Oh? The Emperor Nascent Pill and Hun Tiandi, joining together? That's unexpected. Very well. Show me just how strong a so-called Dou God can be."
Moments passed as the oppressive pressure grew, until at last a vast, world-shaking energy began to spread from within the golden radiance.
"What a… delightful power." A distorted, dual-toned voice rang out as the light abruptly contracted, revealing Hun Tiandi's tall frame once more.
He turned his head slightly, those cold, all-consuming eyes locking on Goku.
"So arrogant. Not long ago you could have killed me easily. But now? Now you may be the one who dies at my hands."
The voice was unnerving—raspy yet imperious—layered with malice and authority, as if two beings spoke at once. Hun Tiandi and the Emperor Pill together.
"Oh? So this is the Dou God realm?" Goku replied calmly, utterly unshaken. "The aura is strong, I'll give you that—hundreds of times greater than a Dou Saint's. But don't think that just because you've reached it, you can challenge me, Hun Tiandi."
"You're mistaken," the fused figure said icily. "Hun Tiandi is no more. From this moment on, call me… the Soul Pill Emperor."
"Pfft—"
Goku immediately burst out laughing. "Did you just say… Clown Emperor? Hah! Damn, I've met some idiots in my time, but crowning yourself with that name takes the cake! Holy crap, I can't even—haha!"
The Soul Pill Emperor's brow twitched, his expression turning dark and venomous.
"So eager to die, are you? Fine then. Remember this day well—for today marks the birth of the Soul Pill Emperor! And you… will be my first opponent."
As he spoke, his eyes began to change. The left glowed a deep, bloody crimson, while the right burned faintly with golden light. Two gazes, two souls, staring from within one body.
With a sweep of his hand, the massive crimson formation in the skies churned violently, transforming into an endless ocean of blood that blotted out the Sky. The red light in his left eye deepened as he took a single, thunderous step forward.
BOOM!
The heavens quaked violently. The sea of blood surged like a living tide, transforming into waves tens of thousands of feet high that came crashing toward Goku with apocalyptic force.

The power within that sea of blood was overwhelming, capable of shattering the soul of even a peak Dou Saint in an instant. The Dou God truly stood as the pinnacle of this world's strength and might.
"Now this is starting to get interesting."
A faint smile tugged at Goku's lips. Golden aura erupted around him in a blazing storm, the pressure alone enough to crush the entire continent beneath its weight. With a clenched fist, he struck.
Golden energy burst forth like a comet from his fist, colliding head-on with the endless blood waves that sought to drown the world.
The heavens roared as the two titanic forces clashed, shaking the world to its very core.
