Chapter 1 - "Tears of the Titan.."
"Dear Diary, well, this is it, this is the special day! I'm starting my new life at the university!! But something as been off about King, he's been distancing himself for the past week, but Eda believes there's just a lot of pressure on him now that he's considered the only Titan. I sure hope so, Vee was right before, Hunter is just shaken up from his nightmares of today, sincerely, the good witch, child of the human realm, student of the demon realm and warrior of peace, Luz Noceda." Luz ended the recording as her mother walked in the room. "Are you ready for the demon realm Mija?" Camila asked. "Yes Mama, I'm ready." Luz giggled. "I'm going to miss you and Vee so much, I won't see you for 8 months during your freshman course!" Camila exclaimed. "I'll have breaks! I promise to visit as soon as I can Mama." Luz assured. "Okay, Adios Mija!" Camila called out as Luz and Vee walked into the portal. Vee waved as the portal closed. In the Boiling Isles, Vee and Luz were immediately greeted by the rest of the group. "Luz!!" Amity exclaimed as she ran to her. "Sweet Potato!!" Luz called out in delight, embracing Amity. She kissed Luz on the cheek as they cuddled. "Hey Luz, Vee!" Willow called with optimism, pulling Gus and Hunter along with her as the three joined the hug (Vee doesn't like to be touched, so she stepped out of it) "Hey Kid!" Eda said. "Eda!" Luz exclaimed, high-fiving her. "Um, Luz, what in Titan's name is that meant to be?" She asked. Luz just rolled her eyes and asked, "Where's King??" Eda hesitated, looking a little concerned but she simply told her, "He hasn't been feeling good lately, he seems.. drained." This worried Luz, "Maybe Hunter is right.. What if he got the curse??" She thought, but she snapped out of that mindset quickly, "No! King is fine, he's probably just stressed with handling all the power of the Boiling Isles and the glyphs." Luz looked back at Hunter, who seemed disturbed, but then again, he looks disturbed a lot of the time.
LATER, IN THE EVENING, AT THE CEREMONY
Before the opening of the university, there was a festival-like event with many fun things to do. Luz and Amity had a small date at this festival, going around doing romantic date stuff. (sorry, i'm getting writers block) But at one point, Luz was pulled aside from the crowd and into the woods by Hunter. "Hey! What are you.." Luz started, annoyed that he took her away from Amity. "Shh.. Luz, I think you should stay in the Owl House and bring King with you.." He warned. "What.. Why??" She muttered. "Because he got the curse, I know it for a fact, I saw it in my dreams last night, he can't be out here, you need to get King away from here, NOW." Hunter ordered. "No! Hunter, King is perfectly fine, he's just getting worn out by keeping up with all the power, now get out of my way!" Luz protested, trying to get past him. "Luz, I'm not joking, I swear that King isn't okay, if the Titan turns to stone, it could lead to chaos throughout the entire Demon Realm, please, you need to help King." Hunter enunciated. "Hunter! It's just in your head, it won't truly happen! Titan, why do you have to be crazy, Grim-walker, you should be lucky that you actually exist, because I'd think I'm insane too if I thought I was seeing a copy of someone else!" Luz shouted. Luz smacked her hand over her mouth seeing the hurt look on Hunter's face. "Hunter.. I.." She stammered but he interrupted, his voice breaking as he retorted, "No, I get it, you don't believe me because you think I'm mental or something, so I understand why you don't see me as a real person." Then Hunter stormed off, trying to hold back tears. Luz thought about following him, but then, it was announced that it was time for the opening of the academy. "Hey, where'd you go, what did Hunter want?" Amity whispered. "He just needed some glyph research, it's nothing." Luz lied, guilty for hurting his feelings during their argument. Amity sensed something was up, but she just brushed it off as Eda and King prepared to cut the ribbon that blocked the entrance of the university. "Witches of the Boiling Isles, at this school, you will learn all about the new glyphs, incantations, magic, the Titan and the celestial bodies, which have became very important, especially since the Demon Realm is protected by The Collector from space." Eda announced proudly. The audience applauded before Eda continued, "We are about to cut the ribbon in 3,2.." But before Eda could count 1, King collapsed onto the pavement. The crowd gasped. "King!" Luz cried out as she ran out of the flock of Witches to King's side who sat up, looked up at his paw (or are they hands, i don't fricking know) and saw that he was becoming encased in stone. He began cry as he became a statue and he told Luz, "I guess we're separating again.." As the rock consumed King, the ground immediately began darkening while everyone panicked. It was the Eclipse, the day of unity all over again it seemed, but around the moon were 4 stars, each a different color, one pink, one blue, one yellow and one crimson, all of them glowing ominously, out of no where, the 4 stars began to descend at a rapid rate toward the atmosphere...
