Before long, they arrived at the place where the miniature Ten-Tails was sealed.
From Madara's position, the stone pillar blocked his view of the creature, but he could hear its furious roars and snarls.
A stench of blood filled the air, accompanied by waves of terrifying chakra.
This was a power he had never encountered before.
Even the Nine-Tails in its prime had been nowhere near as strong as the beast he was sensing now.
In that moment, Madara realized something and his thoughts shifted.
He followed Jigen in silence.
Dali, too, had sensed the miniature Ten-Tails' presence.
When the three of them rounded the stone pillar, their view suddenly opened up.
Within an invisible sunken cage stood a creature like a miniature version of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path—the small Ten-Tails.
Seeing two unfamiliar faces, the beast grew even more violent, unleashing wave after wave of terrifying chakra.
These chakra shockwaves, brimming with wild, destructive power, made both Madara and Dali feel a deep sense of dread.
"What is this?" Dali asked knowingly.
"The Ten-Tails," Jigen replied without hesitation.
"This is the being that will one day grow into a Divine Tree and bear chakra fruit—the one I mentioned that can help us evolve into the ultimate form."
"But it still needs to grow. I brought you here so you could witness its power—something I doubt you've ever seen before."
Hearing this, Madara stopped walking and studied the beast that looked ready to devour him.
Out of the corner of his eye, he glanced at Dali, eager to see if the young man would still be so dismissive after this.
Jigen added, "Even in its juvenile form, the Ten-Tails already has power equal to, if not greater than, any of you. This chakra can be transformed into chakra fruit in the future.
"When it reaches maturity, its power will be more than a hundred times greater than it is now.
"The strength we could divide among ourselves would be far greater as well—enough for all of us to evolve. The two of you would gain the purest Ōtsutsuki power and evolve into true Ōtsutsuki."
In the end, it all came down to this—Jigen wanted to recruit Dali.
Only if Dali agreed could Jigen use him as a "vessel."
