Jack sighed then looked up at the sky, he could swear somehow that somewhere someone was laughing at him.
He understood where this was or more specifically what world this was, the maze runner world, and oh boy did Jack want to go back to fucking that cute girl on his yacht right now, unfortunately he can't.

In the crowd the girl with black hair and blue eyes named Ava who talked with Jack earlier looked at Jack with interest, maybe if he wins he will be the one she gives her precious moment to instead of those weak men in the glade, but first he has do defeat her.
Jack smiled and followed the crowd to a makeshift arena, he entered the square that was surrounded by torches that lit up the arena and the girl with brown hair and green eyes named Emma who Jack almost had in his arms appeared and explained the rules.
Quite simple really, whoever is beaten into submission wins, basically a free for all duel no weapons, Jack noticed in the crowd that some women had slight marks on their faces that didn't diminish their appearance but he understood that the fights were rough especially when he saw a girl with a scarred face.
"On my mark…,mark!" Shouted the referee a scrawny man barely any skin and mostly bones shouted hoarsely.
Jack immediately ran to her right side and immediately slapped her face, before she could get her hands on him he ran away.
The crowd wanted to laugh but they couldn't as the fat girl was top 20 in terms of power in the glade mostly due to her "advantage" in other areas.

She tried moving but Jack punched her throat and continued to beat her, he wasn't an animal and didn't punch with his entire strength or act too crazy.
After a while the girl started screaming "i surrender!!!", almost bursting Jacks eardrums, he immediately got off and back away as she tried swinging at him.
"We have a winner….jack!!!" Jack watched as she stared hatefully at him but she had it coming, but before the girl ran completely to the other side Jack grabbed a girls spear before she could react and threw it at the fat girl who just reached the other side, it hit her lower back piercing into it, Jack was amazed it actually worked?!?,then apologized to the girl he took the spear from with a sheepish smile,she just waved it off as she saw the fat girl struggling to get up looking at Jack with a vengeance before the gate closed completely.
