[3-4 Minutes Later]
Our character and Anna arrive at the venue.
Anna: Okay, what kind of coffee do you want, ****?
(I don't usually drink much coffee; I prefer fizzy drinks. I don't really like tea or coffee, but I have to say something.)
****: Anna, whatever you're drinking, tell me.
Anna: Come on, say something! If you don't like what I'm getting, you can always order something for yourself.
****: Okay, then I'll have an espresso.
Anna: Okay.
(That's the only kind of coffee I know.)
****: I'll find a place to sit.
Anna: Okay, you go ahead.
(Wow, it's really crowded in here today.)
Our character finds a place and sits down.
(I hope Anna has it by now.)
[2-3 Minutes Later]
(Okay, let me check on that girl.)
Our character goes to look for Anna.
(Where did Anna go? She's not here. I'll have to ask the cashier.)
****: Excuse me, have you seen a girl my age ordering coffee?
Cashier: Yes, she said she was going to the bathroom. I have the coffees with me; don't worry. She said she was going to the bathroom.
****: Okay, thanks. Can I have the coffees? She's my friend.
Cashier: How can I trust you?
(Ugh, seriously?)
****: Okay, keep it for now. I don't have any proof anyway.
(I hope she comes out of the bathroom right away.)
[4 Minutes Later]
(Still not out; what's going on there? I really wonder.)
****: Are you sure she went to the bathroom? I've been waiting for 5-6 minutes.
Cashier: That's what she told me.
****: Did she go to the bathroom?
Cashier: I don't know; I wasn't paying attention. Sorry.
****: Where is the bathroom?
Cashier: Down the hall on the right.
****: Ok, thanks.
(Where did this girl suddenly disappear to? What games are being played? Why do I always find myself in these weird situations?)
