They had begun to wander through the main city now. The city could be said to be different from the other districts.
The ground was paved and the buildings and people looked more refined. It was as though they'd just left a village and entered a city.
Riven didn't miss the odd looks they got as they walked. It was mostly from Rhett's drunken walk and the fact that he stupidly engaged random strangers.
Riven knew for a fact that he was pretending and couldn't help but applaud his talent. The man could truly act.
The walk continued and Riven's unease grew. He had to stop himself from asking Rhett directly because of their tail.
Eventually, their walk brought them to the pathway leading directly toward the main Blood Guardians base located almost at the center of the city. It was just a few buildings away from the Council building.
