A young boy was riding a bicycle down a hill while whistling,he was in a hurry to take medicines in the forest down hill for his grandmother's treatment.He has been living with his grandmother since he was born, he had no any other relatives as far as he knows and he's grandmother taught him many things in life any including the medicines that he's about to fetch downhill.
Granny Celina has been suffering from heart disease, since the news of her son and his wife's death when they were on their way to the country side to visit her,after having their firstborn son ,Abel. On hearing such news she had an heart attack and was rushed to the hospital, luckily it was the same hospital in the countryside where her son and daughter-in-law were rushed to.But later when she was better she heard news of the son of the deceased about to be taken to the orphanage since no relative showed up so she made decision to take care of her grandson. And for 15 years,she's been taking care of her grandson.Reaching down the hill Abel fetched the medicines and went running up with his bicycle and reached home but to his surprise his grandmother's condition had worsen, he quickly boiled the herbs and fed his grandmother but no matter how much bowls of medicine he fed her, her condition did not improve he had to wait till tomorrow maybe she'll be fine a little .
While sleeping at night beside his grandmother,he sensed his grandmother's hand moving and she touched him , she said "Abel child 15 years have passed now,it's about time you go out and move on into a new phase of life, I would not wish to confine you with me for all your life dear , live your life and be a great man child", Abel replied while crying"No grandma ,I won't go anywhere till your fine enough", his grandmother just stayed quite for sometime and said" I have a secret that I have been hiding from you my child, I've been wanting to tell you when you are 18 years old but lucky isn't on me to live that long dear".Abel went silent listening to his grandmother.His brain was trying to process what that secret would be .
But just as he was about to hear the secret his grandmother's fever rose up ,Abel had to rush for the medicines and fed his grandmother who slept soon after drinking. After Granny Celina slept , Abel covered her with a duvet and went to sleep on a couch looking after her ,his mind could not rest all he was thinking about was the secret his grandmother wanted to tell, wondering what it could have been about,why was it supposed to be till when he's 18 years old and why he's grandmother decides to tell him right now ,was it because her illness is worsening or something else involved.
Abel wanted to know the truth of this hidden secret and only Granny Celina could tell him , what if it involves his parents but as far as he knows his parents are dead what's going on,he had to take some grean tea to cool off his thoughts and just wait till when his granny is going to wake up.
What would that secret be?would Abel be able to comprehend about it ? would it cost him his life and destiny or would it be the reason for his success?will it cost any sacrifices from him or his loved ones?
