"Against the heavenly dao?" Xiang Yu asked.
He wondered if he would receive some heavenly punishment for this, but he wasn't really creating it out of nothing. Even though he wasn't that smart, he at least knew the first law of thermodynamics: you couldn't create energy from nothing.
He raised his hand, and another qi sphere consolidated on it, then the blue and red lights returned. "But it's not out of nothing," he explained.
The Empress focused more closely on the reaction. When the energies finally collided and the reaction repeated, her eyes widened even more.
"What do you think?" Xiang Yu asked.
The Empress placed her hand beneath her chin. [Converting mass into energy... that's quite smart,] she said. [Did you see anything else when doing it?] she asked.
"Anything else?" he repeated before shaking his head. "Nothing," he said.
