The paralysis effect from Thunder Fang made Simu, even in his beast form, feel slightly uncomfortable.
But that was all.
Facing the full-force strike from the Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost, Simu raised his palm.
Armament Haki wrapped around it, making his arm look as if it were forged from solid steel.
The sharp wires wrapped around the blade were instantly torn apart at this distance.
Only a shallow scratch was left on his arm.
Arcs of electricity flickered across Simu's body, but they didn't affect him in the slightest.
"How dare you make such a scene!" the Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost roared and brought his sword down with a mighty slash.
Though annoyed by Simu's dismissive attitude, he still felt a sliver of anticipation in his heart.
After all, the destructive power of Samehada was terrifying—it could devour enormous amounts of chakra from enemies.
Even Konoha's Yellow Flash wouldn't be able to withstand it…
The massive blade came crashing down.
Samehada, now excited, tore through the bandages that covered it and struck hard against Simu's raised arm.
Sparks exploded violently.
But just as he was about to launch a killing spree, Samehada suddenly realized—it had crashed into something far tougher than expected.
Its sharp barbs failed to pierce through the man before it.
A trace of disbelief crossed the face of the Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost.
Despite his massive build, he looked like a child in front of the seven-meter-tall Simu.
Simu glanced at the faint white mark on his arm.
The force behind that swing was indeed powerful.
If it had been ordinary steel, it would've been shredded instantly.
Even with Armament Haki reinforcing it, the blow still managed to leave a mark.
His golden pupils slowly lifted.
"Was that all you've got?"
"Not good!" exclaimed Kushimaru Kuriarare, who wielded a giant needle-like blade.
With a sewing needle in hand, he launched his attack.
Countless razor-thin threads surged from the ground and wrapped tightly around Simu.
A terrifying scarlet light erupted from Simu's eyes.
Veins bulged across his body as if he had transformed into a berserk beast.
The threads strangling his body shrieked under the strain—then snapped one by one!
His violent outburst was so intense that it left shallow gashes across his armored scales.
But this level of injury?
Simu would recover in mere seconds.
Still, Kushimaru's interference had bought enough time for the Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost to react.
Facing the monstrous Simu, even this fearsome ninja—renowned for his brutality and fearlessness—immediately chose to retreat.
He slammed his feet into the ground and leaped backward.
But Simu wouldn't let him escape so easily.
An overwhelming surge of Conqueror's Haki erupted from him and gathered onto the kanabō in his hand.
"Conqueror's Wrath!"
A dark red thunderstorm shot out from the fearsome club like a pillar of divine fury.
The Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost quickly raised Samehada to block it.
"Samehada, absorb this ninjutsu—now!"
Samehada, capable of devouring chakra from jutsu, usually rendered ninjutsu useless by absorbing the chakra within.
Although it was unhappy with its current wielder's performance, it still complied in order to survive.
But the moment it made contact—it realized something terrifying.
This wasn't ninjutsu at all!
There was no chakra to absorb.
The raging thunder tore through both the Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost and Samehada in an instant.
Dozens of trees were shattered along the path before the blast finally came to a stop.
The burly Watermelon Mountain Pufferfish Ghost lay broken at the end of the massive crater.
His body was covered in bruises, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.
If Samehada hadn't desperately funneled chakra into him to keep him alive—
He might have died on the spot.
The display of overwhelming power stunned the other members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.
Even the surrounding Mist shinobi were frozen in fear.
They knew the man who would one day become Hokage couldn't be weak, but they never imagined he would be this terrifying.
Only the team leader, Jinin Akebino, reacted quickly.
"Everyone! Attack together!" he shouted.
Forming hand seals, he instantly shrouded the forest in a thick mist.
Simu's vision was completely blocked.
Dozens of ninjas launched their attacks simultaneously.
"Water Style: Water Cutting Blade!"
"Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique!"
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet!"
A torrent of Water Style ninjutsu bombarded Simu from all directions.
The sheer scale of the attack gave the Mist shinobi a fleeting sense of security.
This was the Mist's signature fighting style.
Obscure the enemy's sight with Hidden Mist Jutsu.
Then pinpoint their position with Water Style jutsu—suppress and destroy with overwhelming force.
Most enemies who lacked sensory abilities would be drowned or torn apart in the fog.
Unfortunately for them…
While it was true that Simu had not learned any sensory jutsu—
His Observation Haki far surpassed the capabilities of traditional perception techniques.
The Mist shinobi continued their frenzied bombardment for several minutes—
Unaware that Simu was still standing, unmoved, in the heart of the storm.
A golden light suddenly pierced through the thick mist.
It was a golden sphere—radiant and untouchable.
All the Water Style techniques launched just moments ago were completely isolated from it.
Jūzō Biwa didn't hesitate. He immediately formed a hand seal.
"Water Style: Water Prison Technique!"
Torrents of water surged forward, enveloping the golden sphere completely.
"Use the sealing technique immediately!"
Jūzō ordered sternly.
He didn't believe a Kage-level powerhouse could be taken down so easily with just elemental jutsu.
But as long as they could seal him...
Before he could finish his thought, golden light erupted from within the water sphere.
Simu's body reemerged from the golden glow. In an instant, the surrounding aura transformed into thousands of blinding golden lightsabers, tearing the water prison apart like paper.
The shattered sphere exploded outward, flooding the forest and turning the once-lush jungle into a swamp in mere seconds.
But it wasn't over yet.
Thousands of golden lights burst out from Simu in every direction—no blind spots.
A distinct pattern appeared on his face—the mark of Sage Mode.
"Sage Art: Light Blade Domain."
A faint golden sphere of light quickly began expanding outward from Simu.
Inside the glowing orb, countless lightsabers danced chaotically without rhythm or direction.
Anything touched by the light—trees, boulders, even chakra barriers—was instantly disintegrated into dust.
The expanding sphere was a living grinder, obliterating everything in its path.
"Get out of the range—now!"
Jūzō shouted.
But the sphere expanded too fast.
Many ninjas didn't even have time to move before they were swallowed whole.
Their fate? Immediate disintegration. Not even blood remained—just fine red mist.
Even Samehada, the living sword lying on the ground, abandoned its master and slithered away from the scene in terror.
Under the horrified eyes of every Mist Shinobi present, the light sphere continued to expand—thirty, forty meters—before it finally stopped.
A massive, perfectly round crater had formed where the forest once stood.
And at its center stood Simu, motionless and towering.
"Tch. Still too late?"
he muttered.
At that moment, the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, finally arrived.
In the distance, the sounds of tailed beasts clashing rumbled like thunder.
Yet the fear radiating from Simu was greater than any beast.
Yagura didn't waste time with words.
He knew the consequences.
If they didn't take Simu down here today, the Land of Water and Kirigakure would never know peace again.
"Water Style: Water Explosion Technique!"
A high-speed, spiraling water orb launched directly at Simu.
With Mizukage joining the fight, the other Mist Shinobi rallied despite their fear.
Simu responded calmly, swinging his mace with monstrous strength.
The water orb screeched against the spiked mace as the two forces clashed.
But under Simu's overwhelming power, the water ball was torn apart and shattered midair.
Then came more.
"Give it everything you've got!"
Leading the charge was Kushimaru Kuriarare, wielder of the Blunt Sword: Kabutowari—a massive weapon shaped like a hybrid between axe and hammer.
Despite its size, he was the first to arrive, his speed shocking even his fellow Mist Shinobi.
Simu turned and met the descending axe with a single swing of his club.
Kushimaru's massive strike landed, but Simu barely flinched.
Not enough.
Kushimaru's eyes gleamed with intensity.
"DIE, YOU DAMNED KONOHA BASTARD!"
He slammed the back of the axe with his hammer, adding explosive power to the strike.
Simu's expression changed slightly.
The combined impact created a thunderous reaction, the ground beneath him cracking.
It was a powerful, well-executed combo—one that had crushed many enemies on the battlefield.
But this was as far as it would go.
Cracks formed under Simu's feet, but he grinned—baring razor-sharp teeth.
He looked at Kushimaru like a predator cornering prey.
"You've got strength..."
He raised his mace higher.
"...But that's all!"
An even more terrifying force exploded from Simu.
Kushimaru felt it immediately—like a baseball being effortlessly knocked out of the park.
He was sent flying.
Then came the rest of the Mist Shinobi.
Simu grinned savagely and lifted his spiked club, spinning it with incredible speed.
"Thunderous Eight Trigrams: Multi-Strike!"
Each blow from his club landed with crushing weight.
The ninja swords aimed at Simu shattered like twigs, and their wielders were flung into the trees like ragdolls.
