Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 Uchiha Fugaku: Are You Devils?

The flash of golden light tore a massive scar across the snow.

Troy, whom the Cloud Shinobi had placed high hopes on, now lay dying in the snow.

Seeing this, the hearts of the Cloud Shinobi were shattered.

Though Troy wasn't the strongest of his generation in Cloud Shinobi, he was at least among the top three.

Yet even with so much support, he had been utterly crushed by Simu.

No...

Against such terrifying speed, the number of people didn't matter.

If they couldn't keep up with Simu's movements, it would always be a one-on-one fight.

And by the time they realized it, the person Simu had targeted would already be finished.

It wasn't just the enemy that was shaken—Uchiha Fugaku himself was now lost in deep self-doubt.

With someone like this around, what right did he have to become Hokage?

Just the Sharingan... when he couldn't even see his opponent's shadow?

Unknowingly, his fists clenched.

Minato, on the other hand, felt a strange sense of satisfaction.

Finally, someone could understand his struggles.

If not for Simu, Minato would undoubtedly be the brightest prodigy of his generation.

But Simu's overwhelming brilliance completely outshone him.

The battle afterward was simple.

With Uchiha Fugaku and Minato both fired up, they easily took down the demoralized enemies without Simu needing to step in.

Even Minato displayed incredible speed and strength in the battle.

But compared to Simu... it still seemed lacking.

After the fight, a white bear slowly arrived at the battlefield, carrying Kushina and Mikoto on its back.

The two seemed to be having an enjoyable conversation.

Simu let out a sigh of relief—thankfully, Mikoto hadn't mentioned his "hero saving the beauty" moment to Kushina.

However, the moment Kushina saw Minato already cleaning up the battlefield, she flew into a rage.

"What?! You two ran so fast that I didn't even get a chance to fight!"

She rolled up her sleeves and waved her little fists.

Minato rummaged through their spoils, pulling out four scrolls.

His expression suddenly became serious.

"What's wrong?"

Simu leaned over for a look—and his face immediately darkened.

Even he was momentarily speechless.

All four scrolls were Yang scrolls.

"This is some seriously bad luck..." Mikoto muttered softly.

"But we have Yin scrolls," she added.

Since they were from the same village, Mikoto saw no reason to hide it.

After all, Simu had just saved their team from disaster.

Simu glanced at Uchiha Fugaku and rubbed his chin, as if considering whether to take their scrolls.

"If that's the case, I'll give you this Yang scroll," Minato offered, looking toward Simu for his opinion.

"Doesn't matter," Simu waved his hand and slumped onto the white bear with a dejected expression.

How did all four turn out to be Yang scrolls?

Now he had to work overtime again.

"Thanks," Mikoto said with a sweet smile.

Kushina patted her shoulder generously.

"We're all teammates—no need to thank us!"

She then glanced at Uchiha Doki, who had been eliminated, before suggesting,

"Your team is down a member, and it's dangerous to move around alone. Why don't you join us, Mikoto?"

"Eh? Can I?" Mikoto was clearly tempted.

Uchiha Fugaku, on the other hand, looked cold and reluctant.

After some thought, he found an excuse that preserved his pride.

"Since you gave us the Yang scroll, I'll help you find a Yin scroll in return," he said.

"The Uchiha don't like owing favors."

Simu, still lying on the white bear, twitched his mouth.

As expected of the Uchiha...

Mikoto smiled awkwardly.

"Then, I'll be in your care."

"No big deal!" Kushina said cheerfully.

And so, the number of people riding the white bear increased from three to four.

As for the ever-prideful Uchiha Fugaku, he stubbornly chose to walk on his own.

In the following battles, Simu's group overwhelmed both a Rock Shinobi team and a Sand Shinobi team with their sheer strength.

"It's another Yang scroll!" Kushina roared in frustration.

The strength in her hands surged, and she accidentally crushed the scroll.

Simu felt a chill run down his spine.

Tsk, women really are scary...

By now, they had reached the central lighthouse.

As the towering structure stood firm against the wind and snow, Simu suddenly had an idea.

"Since all the remaining teams will gather at the lighthouse anyway, why don't we just ambush them here?"

A smirk appeared on his lips.

"And while we're at it, we can take care of those Cloud Shinobi guys too."

Whether it was trying to kidnap Kushina or mocking her at the village gates...

They had already crossed Simu's bottom line.

That's why he felt no need to show them any mercy.

Uchiha Fugaku looked at Simu as if he were staring at a lunatic.

Blocking people at the finish line?

Was he insane?

This was equivalent to provoking every single participant.

Not just Cloud Shinobi—other village ninjas might also take offense at such arrogance.

Yet Simu spoke as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

How the hell had he survived until now?

What's worse, neither Minato nor Kushina seemed to think there was anything wrong with the plan.

At most, Minato looked a little helpless—

As if he had already gotten used to Simu's... recklessness.
