"But… how is that possible… she was clearly a Muggle woman…"
Two men in black wizard robes staggered out of the wooden hut, shouting as they came.
One of them was clutching his eyes in pain.
"Open your eyes and look properly! She's holding a wand!"
"You damned woman, you tricked me!"
Nagini shrugged. "You were the ones who tried to trick me first."
One of the men said angrily, "How did we trick you first? I thought you were a Muggle woman, so I just wanted to…"
"So what? Because I'm a Muggle, I should be lured here and used as a test subject?" Nagini cut him off coldly.
"You fucking bitch! Avada—"
Bang!
"Ah!"
The wand in the wizard's hand exploded instantly, making him scream in agony.
Nagini raised her green wand slightly, and the two ferocious dark wizards were immediately hoisted upside down.
The other wizard's wand slipped from his hand and fell to the ground.
"Run!"
The injured wizard shouted and tried to Apparate away.
But performing Apparition without a wand was difficult.
He was just a fraction too slow, and both of them were knocked unconscious.
"Tch… still too slow," Nagini muttered, frowning. "If my teacher were here, I'd definitely get scolded again."
If those two had still been holding their wands, they would have escaped.
Even without them, they had almost managed to get away. It showed that her response was still not fast enough.
These dark wizards, even if their minds were somewhat unstable from studying dark magic, were still quite powerful.
Not just anyone could perform wandless Apparition.
Nagini stepped forward, took out two red collars from her robes, and tossed them lightly ahead.
The collars locked onto the two men's necks, then vanished from sight.
After that, she gave a slight flick of her wand, and the two dark wizards regained consciousness.
"Ha! You fucking bitch!" One of them had just woken when a wand slipped out from his sleeve and pointed straight at Nagini.
It was his hidden wand.
But before he could cast anything, he collapsed again, writhing on the ground in agony.
The other wizard, who hadn't even had time to act, suffered the same fate.
Nagini stood to the side expressionlessly and took out a small pocket watch to check the time.
A full two and a half minutes passed before she snapped her fingers.
Only then did their agonized screams begin to subside.
"Still want to fight?" Nagini asked with a smile.
"What did you do to us, you fucking bitch… ah!"
Before he could finish cursing, the wizard began howling in pain again.
The other one wasn't spared either. "Spare me! I didn't insult you!"
Nagini shrugged. "Your friend did. You suffer with him."
"I won't dare again! If he curses again, I'll tear his mouth apart first!"
Nagini remained unmoved. She waited another two and a half minutes before snapping her fingers once more.
This time, the two dark wizards no longer dared to resist. They trembled as they prostrated themselves before her.
"Have you submitted?"
"Yes, yes! We submit! From now on, we'll follow your orders!" The two of them no longer dared to resist at all.
The pain was simply unbearable. It struck both body and soul at the same time, far more terrifying than the Cruciatus Curse.
And while enduring it, they were constantly plagued by nightmares. Very few dark wizards could withstand it.
"Good…" Nagini raised her hand, and a leaf drifted down from a nearby tree. As it landed in her palm, it gradually transformed into a slip of paper.
"Go to this address. Someone will meet you there. Don't even think about running. Otherwise… you know the consequences," Nagini said coldly.
"Yes! We wouldn't dare… we'll go right away!"
The two dark wizards supported each other and fled in panic.
Only after they had left did the cold expression on Nagini's face begin to soften.
It wasn't that she had become cold-hearted. It was that during these days of fighting dark wizards, she had come to fully understand the cruelty of human nature.
She had personally witnessed the miserable fate of Muggles used as experimental subjects by dark wizards…
No matter how gentle a person was, seeing such things would harden them.
If not for her mysterious teacher's order to capture them alive, she would have long since torn those beasts apart.
Nagini casually tossed out a fireball, setting the foul, smoke-filled wooden hut ablaze.
Only then did she take out a piece of parchment and examine it carefully.
"Alright… the Helde brothers are dealt with. Next is…"
…
Northern Europe.
Salazar Slytherin flew northward under a Disillusionment Charm.
Frowning, he avoided a formation of Muggle aircraft and began descending to a lower altitude.
He had been wandering outside for a long time, searching for the places where he had once encountered the ancient sage.
But a thousand years was far too long. The passage of time had reshaped the land, and with the destruction of war… many places no longer even had the same terrain.
This made his investigation extremely difficult.
"These damned Muggles, why start wars for no reason? And if you must fight, why all this senseless bombing?"
After searching fruitlessly for many days, Salazar Slytherin gradually lost his patience.
Suddenly, he recalled the strange tomb he had once explored…
"I wonder if that place has changed… It didn't seem to have much to do with the ancient sage, but… there are no leads right now anyway, and since I'm already here… maybe I should take another look? Just from the outside. As long as I don't go in, it should be fine…"
Having made his decision, Slytherin didn't hesitate and turned in midair, changing direction.
…
Hogwarts.
Tom carried a plate of fruit he had just taken from the kitchen and came to the area outside the Slytherin common room.
He looked around, and only after confirming no one was there did he quietly open the door to the Slytherin study.
But when he entered, he found that Wade wasn't there.
"Tch… always ordering people around. I brought it for you, and you're not even here," Tom muttered in annoyance.
Suddenly, he heard a series of rustling sounds coming from the laboratory.
"So you're in the lab." Tom tossed the fruit plate onto the desk and casually grabbed a bunch of grapes, biting into them.
He walked into the laboratory while eating.
However, the moment he stepped into the laboratory, the grapes in his hand slipped to the floor in shock.
Within the area Wade had designated for experiments, a swarm of palm-sized paper figures were running about in groups.
These paper figures were extremely crude, looking as if they had been casually cut from parchment, yet their bodies were covered with all kinds of strange Ancient Runes.
And now, they were moving with incredible agility, busily working throughout the lab.
Tom watched as one of the paper figures held a knife and skillfully cut potion ingredients, and he couldn't help rubbing his eyes again.
"Oh! Tom, don't just stand there. Did you bring the fruit platter I asked for? You won't believe it. These paper figures can actually eat fruit to replenish their magic!" Wade shouted while wiping sweat from his forehead.
Tom took a deep breath.
"Holy shit! What the hell have you done this time!?"
