Things have been starting to improve, for us anyway. In the Middle East, it just keeps getting worse. Almost daily, there is news of a new cell leader killed or a large bombing run somewhere. This also made me realize something: at the rate things are heading, there is a possibility that Iron Man would not be born. If Iron Man were not born, what would happen? I don't know. I mean, would it matter anymore? I have already caused major havoc and definitely alerted The Ancient One and the other entities in the universe who have recognition for something outside of the domain they are kept in. I will look away for now, though, as the more important news is that my logistics backbone is slowly getting built up. Now that I received legit businesses, I can make money in wheelbarrows and use the funds in many criminal ways for the foundation.
The MTF force I received is great, but I'm also not too overjoyed since if I got them, there is a chance of the next SCP being something like 008. No matter how good they are, I doubt they could contain a virus instantly. Oh, that reminded me of something. Ever since I got the construction company, I realized the way they operated really made it secretive and a thorn in my butt. They usually received materials from privately owned foundation companies that were completely invisible to the public and major corporations, with the help of the O-5 and many agents in high places of government worldwide. It made no sense how the GOC was founded if there were that many agents in high office. Anyways, now that the foundation is literally just me and the system, I can basically count the construction to be obsolete for now and unusable, other than to make money. I mean, how are they going to cover up the building resources that disappeared to build foundation sites and such? I ordered them to be public construction, and to slowly build up their reputation so it will look like a rising star and not a random spawn. The trashy system was really sneaky; it gave me such good-looking rewards, but when you look into them, you will find they are basically an alarm to everyone that something was happening that should not be happening.
The small site was back to normal after 4 days of the incident. Most of the guards still out were those who were critically injured, but most of them were only lightly injured, so they are back. The MTF force was not present in the small site since I had yet to summon them. To summon them, I needed to open the panel and click claim on the MTF force, which I have been abstaining from, just to delay the new SCP from entering the Marvelverse. It's been peaceful enough, I will say again, and I even managed to bullshit my way through an explanation as to why everything is the way it is now. My days of peace are limited; if only a pair of tweezers could make the world notice me this much, I can only imagine what it will be like if any of the anomalous viruses spread.
[Stark Tower]
Tony Stark was even richer than before, especially after the press release. He and Obadiah Stain were continuously refining and networking to push the weaponry as far into the military as they could. The ultimate goal was for them to monopolize the military's weaponry by sheer overwhelming technological might. As usual, Tony Stark was lounging about and messaging supermodels. He had plans to visit the Middle East to watch one of his missiles obliterate a terrorist base, which there were many, and 1 less was always better for democracy, of course. He has been ready for a while now, but he was more content on fooling around than worrying about some missile test; after all, he made it so it definitely will destroy all expectations. Happy Hogan had just walked in and called out to Tony.
"We are heading out soon." He raised his voice so he was sure Tony could hear him. Tony turned off his phone, stood up, and walked up to Hogan.
"You know I would never dare step foot in the Middle East without reason, but after all those attacks, I want to see how its like there now." Tony had no hint of worry in his face, for he was Tony Stark, the richest man alive.
The events of Iron Man 1 have now begun, dear gods.

So the events of Iron Man are still happening, which means I have not done enough to cause a butterfly effect on the actual story just yet. The news was "leaked" by some tabloids, but I really doubt that to be true, knowing Tony's current attitude and personality. The events of Iron Man happening soon mean I should also act its already been a week since the incident, and I don't think I can stay inactive until the end of the Iron Man 1 plot, which would take too long. The fact that much of the military would be looking for Tony in the Middle East, and also SHEILD, would make capturing the SCP appear much easier. It's decided I will be summoning the MTF and the next SCP when Tony gets kidnapped and diverts public attention away from the events of the circus and anything that will happen next because of me.
[Events begin]
Tony is in a Humvee being escorted by a military convoy. He would have liked to be accompanied by Rhodey, but he stayed behind in the US for an unknown reason. Tony was being annoying the entire ride, complaining about the heat and the bumpy road they were taking. It was truly a test of endurance for the poor drivers inside the car with him; they had never dealt with someone like this who couldn't be harmed or shut up, no matter how hard they tried. The convoy was even more armed than it was in the original, no doubt because of the action caused by Mr. SCP himself.
The terrorists paid by Obadiah to kidnap Tony and kill him were on the move, heading towards Tony after they launched the missile. The Ten Rings would lose a lot more men than originally; however, their leader believed they would only suffer a bit because of the missile launched, it didn't matter as long as they managed to get Tony to make them more weapons.
[News]
"This just in: Billionaire and famous playboy Tony Stark was just ambushed and kidnapped by a terrorist cell." Many anchors started the segment just the same, almost instantly, Stark Industries took a hit. Citizens were shocked after all, this was the famous arms manufacturer and one of the major suppliers to the US military; if he died under their watch, it would implode the political sphere. Back-to-back press releases were issued from both Stark Industries and the US government. The promise of even swifter and more deadly attacks was made if Tony Stark didn't walk out of there alive.
When the military heard the news, they mobilized many soldiers to eradicate as many hideouts as possible while also locating Tony. Rhodey was instantly out in the field searching for Tony with more fervor than any other soldier and commander. As this was happening, SHEILD also made their move faster than the US government, seeing as they also put great importance on Tony.

Seeing the news brought a tear to my eye. The Avengers would still exist, and now that Iron Man was coming, other events would start, like the appearance of the Hulk shortly after the events of Iron Man 1 were concluded. I wasted no time and finally redeemed my rewards from the system.
[MTF - Psi-8 are now available to call upon via whistle]
Just then, a red and orange whistle appeared in my sight.
