After a round of guidance, Wei Yang finally stopped, feeling somewhat reluctant to end it. He lifted his teacup and took a slow sip. Watching the thoughtful look on his son's face, Wei Yang didn't interrupt. He simply let the boy ponder on his own.

It didn't matter if he couldn't fully grasp everything yet—there would be time to teach him more in the future. What he said today was mainly to plant the first seed, to give his son an initial impression and direction.

At Wei Ye's current age, he was at the perfect stage for learning and absorbing knowledge, gradually shaping his personality and subconscious values. As the saying goes, a child's nature at three determines who he'll be at eighty.

The environment in which a child grows, along with the influence of family and parents, has an enormous impact—often shaping his entire future character. Among all these influences, the father's is the greatest.

Because, in a child's eyes, a father occupies an irreplaceably important place—someone he instinctively admires, learns from, and tries to imitate.

Yet, over the past few years, Wei Yang hadn't been around. Wei Ye was raised almost entirely by Xian'er—a child growing up under a woman's care.

That worried Wei Yang. He feared his son might grow soft-hearted or overly gentle in temperament when he grew older. That was why, upon meeting him again, he couldn't wait to start teaching him—to set that initial impression right away.

Of course, such concerns weren't necessarily absolute truths. But Wei Yang didn't care about being right or wrong. He only needed to instill his values into his own son—that was enough.

After all, he had long been dissatisfied with Xian'er's way of teaching.

My son doesn't need to live to please others. Other people's opinions, their satisfaction or disapproval—what does that have to do with my child?

My son is mine to discipline. Only I have the right to pressure him, to decide how he grows, which path he takes, and what kind of man he'll become.

The elders of the Falling Star Pavilion? — Hmph, who do they think they are? Even Yao Lao, Xiao Yan, or Medusa had no right to interfere in this.

Wei Yang placed his palm lightly on his son's abdomen and slowly extended his senses into the boy's body. Within Wei Ye's dantian, a cluster of extremely pure Pure Yang Essence floated like a faint golden sun, radiating a scorching, masculine energy.

At the core of that essence was a thumb-sized, round, blood-red orb that continuously released waves of energy—nourishing and strengthening the Pure Yang Essence.

That crimson orb, glowing like a tiny burning fireball, was none other than a Core Bead, also known as a Core Fire Bead. It was a rare energy crystal formed deep within the earth, condensed over countless ages through unique coincidences.

Inside this bead lay an immense amount of energy. It was said that even when refining some Tier 8 or Tier 9 pills, alchemists would use such a legendary Core Fire Bead. Normally, these treasures were buried deep underground, nearly impossible to find.

Occasionally, during massive volcanic eruptions, one or two might be blasted out from the earth's depths. Most of the Core Fire Beads found in the world came from such rare accidents.

But Wei Ye's bead was different—it was personally given by Xiao Yan years ago. He had found it deep beneath the Ye Clan's Sun Fire Ancient Altar, making it an exceptionally rare and high-quality specimen.

This particular bead had absorbed an unknown amount of core fire through countless ages. Once exposed to sunlight, it would react instantly, transforming into the source of Sun Flame.

In other words, as long as the energy within the bead wasn't depleted, it could continuously generate Sun Flame under sunlight.

It was, without question, perfectly suited for Wei Ye—an ideal aid for building his foundation and strengthening his Pure Yang Essence.

Moreover, since Core Fire Beads could even serve as materials for Tier 8 or Tier 9 pills, the energy contained within was vast beyond measure.

Over the past year, as Wei Ye cultivated within the Sun Fire Ancient Altar, the bead continuously absorbed solar energy, fueling his body. As a result, his Pure Yang Essence had grown tremendously.

This accumulation would become a powerful foundation for his future growth. At the moment, that faint golden Pure Yang Essence burned with a layer of golden flame on its surface.

As Wei Yang's perception drew closer, he could feel an immensely scorching and pure masculine aura.

Wei Yang nodded slightly to himself.

That golden flame—it was a sub-flame of the Gold Emperor Incinerating Heavenly Flame. This sub-flame had been brought back two years ago by Xiao Yan from the Gu Clan.

Though its strength wasn't high—roughly that of a high-level Dou Zong—it was still extraordinary. It was, in fact, the repayment for when Xiao Yan had taken the Sea Heart Flame from Wei Yang back in the day.

Wei Yang didn't know how Xiao Yan managed to obtain it from the Gu Clan, but he must have paid a heavy price. This sub-flame was later fused into Wei Ye's Pure Yang Essence through special methods by Yao Lao himself.

After more than a year of absorbing the Sun Flames generated by the Core Fire Bead, this sub-flame had begun to faintly turn pale-white in hue.

That pale-white tint came from being merged with too much Sun Flame, and also because the Golden Flame had long since blended into the Pure Yang Essence itself.

During the year Wei Ye spent cultivating in the Sun Fire Ancient Altar, the amount of Yang Power he absorbed through the bead was immense—almost on par with the sub-flame's own strength.

At this point, the sub-flame had already begun to mutate. It wouldn't be wrong to call it a new fusion flame born from both Sun Flame and the Gold Emperor Incinerating Heavenly Flame.

Withdrawing his senses, Wei Yang pondered for a moment before nodding approvingly.

This foundation was more than sufficient.

With that Core Fire Bead, Wei Ye could obtain Sun Flame anywhere sunlight reached, continuously replenishing and strengthening his essence—though not as quickly as within the Sun Fire Ancient Altar.

Even so, his Pure Yang Essence and overall foundation were already exceptionally strong.

After all, Wei Ye was still only at the peak of Dou Wang. If his essence grew too powerful too quickly, it could become unstable and even dangerous. Progressing steadily was the right path.

As for the main body of the Gold Emperor Incinerating Heavenly Flame that Wei Yang possessed—he would hold onto it for now. It was far too dangerous for his son.

Even in its weakened state, it still held the might of a low-level Ban Sheng flame. Wei Yang wouldn't dare recklessly seal such power into his son's body. If something went wrong and the seal broke, the consequences would be disastrous.

Let alone attempting to fuse it into his son's Pure Yang Essence—that would be sheer madness. The essence would be devoured before the fusion even began.

Even Wei Yang himself—or Yao Lao, for that matter—wouldn't dare to casually handle such a flame. This level of Heavenly Flame was something even a Dou Sheng like Yao Lao had to treat with the utmost caution.

For now, Wei Ye's sub-flame was already enough. Wei Yang's thoughts gradually settled. When he looked down, he saw his son gazing up at him, eyes full of admiration and affection.

Wei Yang smiled, reaching out to ruffle the boy's hair.

"How is it, little brother Yang?" Xian'er walked over with a soft smile.

"Ye'er's foundation is solid now," Wei Yang nodded. "Pack up—we'll head back today."

"Alright," Xian'er replied, glancing fondly at their son.

At that, Wei Ye's face lit up with joy. "We can finally go home!" he said excitedly.

He had been missing his two little sisters and Yao Lao dearly—he'd been waiting for this day. The boy jumped out of Wei Yang's arms and dashed off toward his room. "I'll go pack right now!"

"You little rascal," Xian'er laughed softly, chasing after him.

"Ah Da, go inform the Ye Clan," Wei Yang instructed toward the door.

"Yes, master," Ah Da responded respectfully.
