Solar Annihilation Palm!

At the peak of Yun Lan Mountain, a black sun rose into the sky, rapidly swelling with the wind. Blazing and terrifying, it plunged downward like a falling meteor.

The dreadful aura it unleashed caused the two retreating factions below to involuntarily turn their heads upward, eyes wide in horror.

Heaven and earth darkened—as if doomsday had arrived, a black sun crashing from the sky.

Surging energy tore through the air. The formation formed by the nine massive fire dragons began to collapse rapidly.

Waves of scorching heat pressed down like tidal waves, causing the massive stone tiles in the plaza below to crack and shatter.

If it was this bad below, the battlefield above was far worse.

"Xiao Yan, retreat!"

Yao Lao cried out, the pale-white flames around him flaring as he turned without hesitation and fled.

"Shit!"

Xiao Yan cursed, gripping his Heavy Xuan Ruler as his wings beat furiously. Lightning sparked beneath his feet as he bolted back, leaving streaks of afterimages behind.

This ultimate move?Yeah... it's insane.

"Heheheh… RAAAAH—!"

Protector Tie tilted his head back and stared at the descending black sun, letting out guttural laughter and howls.

He stood firm in midair and thrust both arms skyward—like he was trying to hold up the collapsing heavens.

Dark, eerie black mist surged wildly from within his body, converging overhead into a thick, oppressive black cloud. Even the light from the black sun couldn't penetrate it.

In an instant, the world above Yun Lan Mountain was swallowed into utter darkness.

Chilling wind howled. Ghostly cries echoed in all directions.

With both hands holding up the sky-darkening cloud, Protector Tie actually flew up to meet the descending black sun—charging head-on into annihilation.

"Got guts, huh? Then let's see you hold this!"

Wei Yang snorted coldly and poured more Dou Qi into the attack.

The black cloud was ice-cold.The black sun—blazing hot.One above, one below. One cold, one hot.Two extremes crashing toward one another.

This kind of world-shaking power left even the most desperate escapees frozen in awe.

If this went wrong... the entire peak of Yun Lan Mountain might be obliterated.

Panic exploded.

Everyone was running, scrambling to escape like their lives depended on it—because they did.

Above, the black sun fell.Below, the black cloud surged upward.

Protector Tie's body vanished into the cloud, engulfed completely.

Suddenly—

The entire world fell silent.

An eerie stillness that made every hair stand on end.

But it lasted only a breath.

Then, the black sun collided with the black cloud.

Time seemed to freeze for a moment—then the heavens shuddered.

BOOM—!!

A giant black mushroom cloud bloomed in the sky, gorgeous yet terrifying.

The black sun detonated.

Its bursting radiance tore through the thick black clouds, blasting countless beams of black light downward like lances.

Splat! Splat! Splat!

The black beams poured down like a torrential rainstorm—or like Gatling gunfire—drilling tiny holes into the plaza below.

Slower Yun Lan Sect disciples didn't even have time to scream. Pierced by countless beams, black flames engulfed them—until their bodies disintegrated into ashes and crumbled to the ground.

Those who witnessed this were petrified with fear.

Regret filled their hearts—regret that they weren't born with more legs to run faster.

They unleashed every ounce of strength they had, desperately fleeing this apocalyptic hellscape.

In the skies...

The moment the black sun exploded, silence ruled.

Then came a massive circular shockwave that expanded violently.

The void rippled like boiling water, sending out invisible waves of energy.

The ring-shaped shockwave passed silently through everything. The chilling black clouds evaporated instantly. Even the wild flames covering the mountain were sucked upward into the sky, as if the world had been turned upside down.

Flames, trees, buildings—everything was sucked upward and disintegrated.

BOOM—!!

A deafening, earth-shattering explosion finally arrived—late but terrifyingly loud, as if the heavens themselves were screaming.

It slammed into everyone's eardrums like a warhammer. Their hearing vanished instantly, leaving only a high-pitched ring.

Below, the once grand green-stone plaza looked like a child's sand table.

A massive invisible hand had slapped it down, crushing it inward—then sent waves of destruction rolling outward in all directions.

Even the entire Yun Lan Mountain seemed to tremble violently under the blast.

At the Foot of the Mountain

Below Yun Lan Mountain, a hundred thousand elite soldiers were arranged like an iron wall—winding in formation, disciplined and cold.

In the center of the army stood Yao Ye, clad in military armor. Her lips parted slightly, her beautiful eyes widened, staring at the massive black mushroom cloud blooming atop the mountain.

From her vantage point, the view was even more shocking.

If Yao Ye had ever heard the term "nuclear bomb," she would have instantly made the connection—what had just exploded on the mountain was like a mushroom bomb going off.

The blinding black radiance still pierced even the foot of the mountain—so dazzling it was painful to look at.

Moments ago, the peak of Yun Lan Mountain had looked like a flaming torch in the sky. But now, it had been completely snuffed out, consumed by darkness.

No, not snuffed out—but sucked upward into the sky.

Above, as the mushroom cloud fully bloomed, a sea of black fire surged outward like tidal waves—devouring all the rising flames in its path.

"Mister Wei…"

Yao Ye murmured unconsciously.

This awe-inspiring, earth-shattering power—she had never seen anything like it in her life.

The shock in her heart was indescribable.

This kind of might… was truly capable of overturning seas and mountains, even altering the heavens themselves.

And at that moment, that tall, handsome figure—Wei Yang—was burned into her soul. No matter how time changed, she knew she'd never forget what she witnessed today.

As Yao Ye and the hundred thousand troops stared in stunned silence, tiny black dots began fleeing from the mountaintop like panicked fleas, racing desperately downhill.

Suddenly—

BOOM!

A deafening explosion rumbled again. Yun Lan Mountain trembled violently.

Then, another violent shockwave ripple burst from the summit—sliding along the mountain's surface, sweeping downward toward the foot of the mountain.

Wherever the ripple passed, trees were snapped, boulders shattered.

It was gaining on those black flecks rapidly—and overtook them within seconds, swallowing them in clouds of smoke and dust.

Seeing the ripple still charging down the mountain toward them, Yao Ye's pupils shrank.

"Troops, hear my command—SHIELD FORMATION! DEFEND!!"

She shouted, instinctively giving the right order without hesitation.

At this point, running would've been suicide.Only standing firm gave them a chance.

As her command rang out, the soldiers responded on instinct.

"DEFEND! DEFEND! DEFEND!"

The army roared in unison.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Massive ironwood shields slammed down at the front of the formation—forming a black steel barricade.

Behind the shields, burly warriors with powerful builds braced against them, holding firm.

From behind, the shockwave came fast—rolling with thick dust, shattered debris, and even the occasional spinning, airborne human figure.

"Hold the line!"

Yao Ye shouted, her dark eyes reflecting the massive, overwhelming wave crashing toward them like the end of days.

"HUH!!"

The shield-bearing soldiers roared together, locking in.

Even soldiers in the second row instinctively dropped their weapons, stepped forward, and crouched into horse stances—shoulders pressed tight against the shield wall.

From high above, it looked like a black steel dam facing a tsunami of apocalyptic dust.

Then—

BOOOOOOM!!

The two forces collided.

Instantly—soldiers and horses were sent flying.

The dust wave, like a flood from hell, swallowed the entire elite army whole.

After the Dust Settled...

As the chaos slowly faded, the world grew still once more.

At the foot of Yun Lan Mountain, it looked like a scene from a disaster movie—pure wreckage and chaos.

Yao Ye, covered in dirt, staggered up from the ground. She shook the dust off her body and, not even bothering to straighten her armor, immediately yelled: "Reform the lines! Get back into formation, quickly!"

But before the words were finished, she froze.

Her eyes locked on a familiar figure—a white-haired old man, crawling out from beneath a massive boulder not far away.

She blinked in shock, then quickly ran to him, helping him to his feet while brushing the dust off his clothes.

"Great-grandfather! Why are you here? Are you hurt?" She asked anxiously.

"Cough, cough! Ptooey—I'm fine," The old man wheezed, spitting out a mouthful of dirt and replying with a grumble: "What do you think? That shockwave damn near dragged me down the mountain."

Turns out, he was one of those poor souls flung through the air like a ragdoll in the rolling dust cloud.
