When Violet regained her consciousness next, she was covered in Sylas's scent from head to toe. A burst of giddiness travelled through her at the thought. In her moment of lethargy, she did not wish to get up from the bed, but the crippling hunger forced her.
Just when she thought she will meet Sylas downstairs, there were no signs of him. She tried to call for him a few times but met with no response.
A freshly made sandwich and soup was served on the table. But seeing how they had turned cold showed it had been a while since Sylas had left.
Violet mumbled, "He could have at least informed me."
Her mood felt down as Violet consumed the food in front of her. The delicious sandwich soon turned bland in her mouth.
Her phone then rang up, indicating she received a message.
She reached out to grab her phone lethargically. When she saw the message was from Sylas, immediately her hazel eyes brightened up.
She immediately checked it out.
