In the video:
From a lofty God King to an ordinary man in the blink of an eye—this drastic fall nearly broke our Tang San! The most frustrating part was that he still had no idea what had happened.
Moreover, if he had ended up in this world, could Xiao Wu be here too?
The mere thought of this made Tang San restless. He couldn't wait to head out and search for his beloved Xiao Wu.
But soon enough, reality hit him like a brick to the face.
Because—he had no money.
In this world of ordinary people, only money is omnipotent. Either you have power, or you have wealth. Without money, a common man could hardly take a single step forward.
Tang San searched every pocket and rummaged through every drawer, but couldn't find a single coin. A perfect demonstration of what it meant to be completely penniless.
Now what?
Feeling a hunger he hadn't experienced in ages, Tang San found himself in a difficult situation. He needed to solve the issue of food, or he would starve. But he didn't know—if he died of hunger, would he leave this world and return to the Divine Realm? Or would he simply die, for real?
He didn't dare to gamble. If he lost the bet, it would be game over.
Tang San didn't have the guts. He couldn't afford to take the risk.
Fortunately, he still had a place to stay. As for money—he'd figure it out. He wouldn't starve to death right away, right?
But soon, a knock came at the door.
Tang San opened it cautiously to find a fat middle-aged man standing there. This man brought bad news—the place he was staying in was rented. If he didn't pay up today, he could get the hell out!
And so, penniless Tang San was kicked out for failing to pay rent.
The once-mighty God King was now homeless.
A cold wind blew.
Squatting under an overpass, Tang San couldn't help but shiver. He realized things couldn't go on like this. His top priority now was to make money!
And so, the morally flexible Tang San's first idea was to break into houses at night and rob the rich to feed the poor!
However, having lost all his martial arts skills, he couldn't even climb a wall. Facing the towering gates of wealthy estates, he could do nothing but stare helplessly. He had no choice but to consider another plan.
Theft.
He would become a pickpocket, stealing wallets from unsuspecting pedestrians.
Seeing this once-glorious God King Tang San resort to petty theft in the video left many viewers sighing in disbelief. Then came the disdain—after all, he was once a God King. And yet, his first thought to earn money was to steal, not to rely on his own skills?
One day without his powers, and his true colors were already showing. This alone was proof of how twisted his character really was.
In the video, Tang San's first attempt at pickpocketing went exactly how you'd expect for someone who'd lost his martial prowess. Now just an ordinary man with clumsy limbs, he was immediately caught in the act.
As the victim shrieked, "Thief!"
A crowd quickly gathered and pounced on him, pinning him to the ground. Then, with many hands and feet, they delivered him straight to the police station.
He spent seven days In jail.
With a bruised face and swollen nose, Tang San was finally released. During those days, he learned the laws of this world from fellow inmates: this was a society ruled by law. So long as you didn't break the law, you could go anywhere. But if you did—well, the police would happily invite you back for more jail food.
He realized that to find Xiao Wu in this world, he needed money. Not just money—fame. Big fame.
So, he started job hunting.
But with no education, no knowledge, and no connections… Tang San faced rejection after rejection. In the end, he had no choice but to take up a job hauling bricks—the hardest work for the lowest pay. The only upside was food and shelter, and no one cared about your education or IQ. All you needed was some dumb strength.
Despite having to cram into a tiny dorm with a bunch of sweaty men, falling asleep each night surrounded by the stench of sweat, farts, and other indescribable odors… even having to worry about his chrysanthemum being violated in his sleep—Tang San endured it all for the sake of making money.
And so, for three long years, Tang San worked from dawn to dusk moving bricks. Yet he still remained at the bottom of society.
In this world, there was no protagonist halo, no fortune shielding him. With only average intelligence, Tang San finally understood what it meant to live a miserable life. He had become a pathetic corporate slave, endlessly exploited by a ruthless boss, doing the filthiest, hardest work for the most meager pay.
His life saw no light. The massive contrast drove him to the brink of insanity. He had countless thoughts of ending it all—maybe that would break this illusion and return him to the Divine Realm? But everything around him felt too real. There wasn't a trace of illusion. Maybe death really was the end.
So, Tang San chickened out. He didn't dare to die. He could only continue struggling like this. All that so-called wisdom he once prided himself on—meant nothing in the face of harsh reality. Without a protagonist filter to dumb down his enemies, his petty cleverness would've gotten him beaten to death long ago.
Viewers watching the video couldn't help but sneer at the once-glorious Tang San. This? This is all there is?
So-called God King? This guy? So many things could've been handled better, but he always chose the dumbest way. Especially annoying was how he thought he was the smartest man alive.
Now, stripped of his protagonist aura, Tang San had shown everyone exactly what it meant to be a clown. Arrogant. Inept. All talk, no skill.
The audience quickly turned on him.
The once-legendary Sea God, wise and mighty—was nothing but a glorified tale. The real Sea God was pathetic.
Had It not been for his absurd luck and absurd talent… with his brain, even a pig with that kind of talent might've done just as well.
At this moment, the screen shifted.
The scene changed to a place familiar to all—the Divine Realm Committee.
In the massive hall, only one figure sat alone: Huo Yuhao.
Before him hovered a crystal orb, within which was displayed Tang San's current condition. Without a doubt, Tang San was being monitored at all times, stripped of all privacy.
"Tang San, you toyed with my fate…"
"You thought you could control my life. But I won't grant you a swift death. That would be far too easy."
Glaring at the crystal ball, Huo Yuhao's eyes gleamed with vicious intent as he gritted his teeth. "I'll make you experience everything you did to me. I'll let you feel the pain of having your fate manipulated, your love stolen, and your emotions played like a puppet!"
The screen shifted again—this time showing the entire Divine Realm's transformation. The audience realized: the world Tang San was in… was the former Divine Realm itself. But now, it had been completely remade into a mortal world by Huo Yuhao, who had obtained the power of a Creator God. Only the Divine Realm's core remained untouched, hidden from mortal view.
As for the original gods—including the Gods of Kindness and Evil, Xiao Wu, and the rest—they had all been stripped of their divine power, their divine consciousness shattered, and their memories rewritten. They were thrown into this newly remade mortal world.
Only Tang San retained his memory.
All for one reason—so Huo Yuhao could enjoy toying with him.
As for the crisis of the original Divine Realm, the time-space rift? Huo Yuhao had casually erased that when he reconstructed the realm.
