Caliste's eyes widened as he heard the words coming out of Liana's mouth.
His brother…?
He didn't even know himself that he had a brother. Her mother or his sister had never even mentioned it, and why was he standing there with a hood, his back leaning against a large rock?
It looked like he was just trying to look cool in front of his brother.
"What are you talking about?" Caliste asked in a whisper as he slowed his pace toward the exit of the cave.
"He's another son of the Demon King. I don't know the whole story, but this man right there is very dangerous. And if he's here, it means there's something that he wants from you, or maybe he's here under the orders of the Demon King."
Caliste was getting more and more surprised as time passed; still, he believed that this "brother" was simply someone who was born of another woman than Ava. After all, he had never heard of him in over 18 years. He doubted that they would have hidden him, right?
