The King smiled slightly then a loud slap was heard. The king's hand moved so fast it was as if it never left his side.
Ray is knocked to the ground from the force of the slap.
The king's hand did in fact not leave his side since someone already reached Ray first!
It is his own father, Rowan Solaris who struck him!
Ray had been knocked down with his left knee smashing into the ground and his right foot is still planted on the ground. A large black hand print fresh on his right cheek and blood seeping down from the cracks in the hand print to his chin.
"Be grateful, His Majesty allowed me to punish you instead of himself."
Ray was still looking up at his father his eyes fierce and his gaze unwavering without a shred of fear or pain. In his head Arthur was fuming with anger.
"He dares to hit my disciple and act like it's kindness!"
Arthur ready to take over is stopped by Ray's actions. He quickly stands up proud and with a smile he said. "Hmm I thought that would hurt more."
"Absolutely outrageous." The king said calmly but a smirk could barely be seen at the corner of his lips.
"Absolutely outrageous." Rowan says at the same time. "Do you think you can just do whatever you want because your my son or because your mother failed to raise you properly?"
Magma filled Ray's veins as anger becomes evident on his face. "You worthless b...!"
Emily steps out as Ray begins shouting and tries to diffuse the situation. "It's alright, Ray return to the carriage."
Everyone watched Ray wondering what he would do next. He didn't disappoint as he takes another step towards Rowan.
Their eyes lock on to each other, waiting for the other to do something or say something wrong.
Ray looks away and walks passed Rowan.
"My mother raised me properly and your title grants me nothing I haven't earned." Ray says with a cold calmness as he passes Rowan.
He walks over to The king as Arthur switches with him.
"What makes you think you deserve to stand on the the same ground as me!" The king asks interest and anger aligning in his voice.
He stares down at Arthur with arrogance radiating from him and a invisible pressure to match.
" I AM THE LUMINOUS SUN AND STAR GOD, ARTHUR SOLARIS. THE FOUNDER OF THIS KINGDOM. This ground in mine and I will walk where I please." He announced to the king and everyone else watching them.
Everyone looks at them in shock. "How dare you use that title?"
"Who do you think you are, boy?" The king says now furious.
"I just told you." Arthur quickly answers. He turns to his mother, Emily.
"Mother please get back in the carriage, I will see you at the end of the tournament." Arthur says as he starts walking passed the king. Everyone watching his display in utter confusion or fury.
As he walked past the king's wife and children, The queen watches him in shock and the kids had rage in their eyes like no other.
They were like wolves glaring at prey.
before he entered the arena the king stops him with a question.
"Do you think that humans can become gods?"
Arthur stops and without a second thought he answers. "A person has to have the arrogance of a god willing to look above all and strength to match that arrogance."

During the confrontation hooded people sift through the crowd, watching the situation unfold.
One man touched his ear. "Did you hear what the kid said? Do you think it's true? Should we kill him?"
Another man answers. "We will wait and see what his strength is. Send in the replacement contestant."

After walking into the stadium, He could see just how large it is. A 5 kilometer diameter, surrounded 3 stone platforms each 500ft in diameter with a clear barrier around each. The edge of the arena had rows and rows of bleachers.
One of the sides is sectioned off and that side looked more luxurious than the the other sides and a box was placed in the middle with windows all around and 2 thrones as well as 7 other seats below.
Ray gets registered as a combatant and walked over to the combatant area.
He sees the three people his father talked about as well as many other powerful combatants. He looks in the direction of Belle who he had seen before as he walked past the main children of the 1st family.
She was glaring at him and as their eyes met, she begins to walk toward him.
Once she reached him, she starts yelling while everyone is staring at her.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, DOG!"
"I thought I already told you who I am?" Ray said sarcastically.
"ARGH, JUST YOU WAIT I TOLD MY UNCLE WHO IS THE REF TO MAKE SURE YOU AND ME ARE IN THE FIRST ROUND TOGETHER! AT FIRST I WAS GOING TO JUST KNOCK YOU OUT OF THE RING! NOW I'M GOING TO CRIPPLE YOU!!!"
"You can try. Now if you don't have anything else to say please go away, your voice is hurting my ears." Ray says with a shrug and points to the direction she came.
She become even more furious and frustrated. "JUST YOU WAIT!"
"I will but you should probably stop waiting." Ray says with the biggest fake smile he could muster.
Hearing this belle grows angrier than what was thought possible. She didn't say anything and stomps away in a huff.
His sister Raven walks towards him.
"Seems like you have a target on your back." Raven said jokingly.
"It's the consequence of being so amazing?" Ray retorted.
"Honestly, You deserve what's coming to you bro." She says patting Ray on the back and left.

30 mins later
A loud alarm rings and everyone is teleported to their designated battle grounds. there was still some room to move around since the platform was so big.
Across the way Ray could see Belle staring daggers at him.
The ref stood in the air then shouted.
"It's time to commence the battle royal some of you will die but please try not to kill each other." then he looked at me with a cold smile.
Another alarm went off and the battle begins.
