Naos's shoulders tensed as he looked at the silver-haired young man nervously. He had only wanted to make a friend, away from these snobbish people. And this man seemed the type not to care about family names or wealth.
He had noticed him earlier, thinking maybe he could finally talk to someone without worrying about his family's position.
But it seemed he had dragged this young man into trouble.
"I was just asking him a question," Naos said, stepping toward to draw their attention away from Micah.

"The Francis auction is next weekend," one of them said. "You're going, right?"
