Although Mrs. Chandler didn't interrogate him about his outing any further, if Axel hoped to enjoy the rest of his weekend in peace, he was going to be deeply disappointed. The very next day, early in the afternoon, an 'unexpected' guest arrived at the Chandlers' mansion.
Knock, knock!
The maid knocked on the door of Ollie's room before coming in.
"Young Master, Mistress is asking for you to come to the drawing room."
Axel looked up from the pillow fort he and Ollie had built on the floor. They were right in the middle of building a castle from block toys, but Axel highly doubted that his mother would accept this as a sufficient excuse.
Thus, he let out a sigh, turning to Ollie, "Can you carry on on your own for a while? I'm going to see what granny needs."
