"Eat a little more," Dominick instructed, watching Jeniva closely as she pushed her plate away after barely finishing half her meal.
His brows knitted together in disapproval.
Jeniva picked up a napkin and gently dabbed the corners of her mouth.
"But I'm already full," she said, giving him an innocent look. "I really can't eat more."
Dominick clearly didn't look convinced.
Across the table, Evan observed the entire exchange with growing amusement. A slow smirk spread across his face as he leaned back in his chair.
"You're far more worried about Jeniva than she is about herself," he remarked casually.
His eyes shifted between the two of them.
"What's this sudden change in our prince?" he continued teasingly. "Why do I feel like something is going on between you two?"
Jeniva froze. Her eyes immediately snapped toward Dominick, staring at him so intently that she forgot to blink for a moment.
