08:37 AM.
A deafening explosion shattered the morning calm, followed by the panicked screams of civilians. Chaos erupted at the fountain intersection. Security forces swiftly detected the presence of Igor Beasts—creatures suspected to have emerged from the underground river and were now making their way toward Mount Salak via the Puncak route, Bogor. If left unchecked, the destruction they caused could become a disaster.
Not far from the scene, a member of the IHA (Indonesia Hunters Association) sprinted toward the source of the chaos. A small vault was firmly clutched in her left hand as she moved swiftly, her sharp eyes scanning the battlefield. She was no stranger to this kind of situation.
"Huff... huff... target spotted," she murmured.
She leaped forward, her gaze locking onto a sturdy lamp post. In a single swift motion, she extended her hand—manipulating the metal and reshaping it into a Gunblade. Without hesitation, she cocked the weapon and took aim at one of the Igor Beasts.
Bang!
Her shot struck the beast's leg.
"AUURGGHHH!"
The Igor Beast roared, its massive frame trembling as one of its legs collapsed. But instead of retreating, it went berserk—slashing at nearby buildings with terrifying speed. The girl tightened her grip on the Gunblade.
"Ugh... what a hassle..." she muttered.
The second Beast doesn't stay calm either. The creature lunged forward, swinging its massive arm at her. She swiftly dodged to the side, firing off several rounds while slashing with her blade—searching for an opening to plant a bomb.
"Noice..." she whispered, securing the bomb inside the beast's mouth.
BOOM!
A violent explosion shattered the air, obliterating the head and neck of the first Igor Beast. However, the second one remained standing. In fact, the remnants of its fallen ally seemed to be absorbed into its body—making it bigger and stronger.
"Aihh..."
She furrowed her brows. She needed to end this fight quickly, before more lives were lost... or before the city's repair costs rocketed.
With unwavering focus, her face shifted into a weapon, the gun's barrel extending as she prepared to fire the finishing shot. She locked onto the target—and pulled the trigger.
"BOOM! DUARRR!"
The bullet tore through the Igor Beast's head, annihilating it instantly. The massive creature collapsed, motionless.
With that, the morning battle is over, and the rest would be handed over to the relevant authorities.

For over 2,000 years, Earth has suffered from a catastrophe known as Igor's Energy. This extraterrestrial force drifts through the cosmos, targeting silent worlds and erasing their civilizations. Like an astral parasite, it can manipulates, and mimic human emotions, corrodes minds, and transforms people into Igor Beasts.
Its impact has been devastating. The human population has been thrown into disarray with a gender ratio of 1:3, as women are more susceptible to its corruption. Over time, Igor's Energy has continued to evolve, forcing humanity to adapt.
From the ashes of destruction, warriors of the world emerged—the Hunters.
During war against Igor's Energy, there are three types of people when they're affected by Igor's Energy. First, those who gain new abilities—whose DNA successfully merges with Igor's Energy. Mostly they become Hunters or higher. Second, those whose bodies are infected and transformed into Igor Zombies. And last, the ones with extremely weak immune systems, when they're infected, they begin to die slowly unless they receive treatment in time.
Hunters are elite individuals trained to eliminate Igor monsters. They have existed since thousand years ago. They possess special abilities acquired through exposure to Igor's Energy. Those who survive the infection often develop heightened resilience and undergo physical mutations, such as the growth of tails, wings, or animal-like features depends on how strong the infection.
Therefore, every country has their own Hunter corps.
Indonesia is no exception, boasting its largest Hunter organization, the IHA (Indonesia Hunters Association). Their members come from all walks of life, ranging in age from 17 to 50 years old, or until death.
Now, they stand as humanity's last line of defense against the Igor threat.
