I can't sleep.
No matter how much I close my eyes, I sit up instantly and was wide awake. I tried many things, such as drinking a glass of warm milk, puffing up my pillow, sleeping on both sides.
Heck, I even tried to sleep on the floor, and I do not like sleeping on the floor.
As for the reason why I couldn't sleep? Is because of a guy that was sleeping in my brothers bed.
Eros.
That guy is an incubus. A danger to all women. The reason I say this, is because of the interactions we had in the past.
FLASHBACK FIRST WEEK
I was stocking the shelves with some new movies that were released a while back, while Wise had to fill out some paperwork.
Luckily, he wasn't as cruel this time and had Eros help me stock up, who was now working for us to earn his keep to stay here.
But I was struggling to do so, since, in one hand, I had a box full of new movies, while in the other hand was the movie I was trying to place.
'Darn small body, why couldn't I be a bit taller?' I whined silently, standing on a small ladder to place the movie on the top.
Yet, as I struggled to place it on the top, I didn't notice that the ladder itself was wobbling, and soon, one of the legs gave away.
"W-woah!" I felt my entire body falling backward, and I soon saw ceiling. I closed my eyes, and prepared myself to feel the pain.
But instead of the hard wooden floor, I landed on something soft and warm. With the hint smell of coffee. My eyes slowly fluttered opened, and I found myself in Eros's arm.
"Are you okay, Belle?" He asked me with concern, his eyes staring into mine, and his arm was around my waist. Gently holding me as if I was a fragile piece of glass.
I couldn't stop myself from blushing, my heart was beating so hard I could hear it drumming in my ears.
"I-I'm fine, I j-just slipped!" I stood up and grabbed the box that fell to the floor, and picking up the scattered movies.
FLASH BACK END
I could still feel the gaze he held when I fell, concerned, warmth, and kindness. The same kindness he showed for the sinners.
I gripped the pillow hard, holding it against my chest. "Mmmm, why did he have to have a nice body?" I whispered to myself and began to remember something else.
SECOND FLASH BACK
I was helping the last customer of the day to rent a movie, and had soon gave them the receipt.
As I walked them out of the store, I gave one last wave and soon closed it, turning the open sign off, and locked both the front and back door.
"Mmm, it feels so nice to rent a show to a customer." I smiled and made my way to the second floor.
And what's even better, Hecate, Hella, K.K, and Che were no where to be seen. Once making my way inside, I grabbed a towel and made my way to the bathroom.
But before I opened the door, I heard the sound of the shower head and thought that it was Wise taking a shower.
I grew a mischievous smile on my face and quietly unlocked the door, slowly opening it until I could slip through.
I could see my brothers shadow behind the curtain, his hands on his head, scrubbing it with shampoo.
'Oh yeah, now's a good chance to have a good scare.' I thought and began to creep closer, slowly reaching out to the curtain.
As soon as I gripped the edge of the curtain, I yanked to the side to scare him. But instead of seeing Wise's back, I saw a back full of scars.
'Wait, Wise doesn't have any scars…' By the time I realized who it was, it was too late. Eros, had already glanced over his shoulder.
The two of us didn't move at all, only staring at one another as the water kept running. Slowly dripping down his body that was glistening from the water droplets.
After a few more minutes of me staring at his body, I closed the curtain and stepped out, at the same time, Wise came out of his room in his nightwear.
He looked confused on why I was dazed, but when he saw the towel in my hand, he understood what had happened.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you that Eros will be staying for the night, since he helped me out with some of the bills, sorry on not telling you." He patted my shoulder and entered his room.
After leaving me standing in the hallway, I slowly realized what had happened. My face was turning red, and I felt a scream was making it's way out of my mouth.
"aaaAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" I ran to my room screaming, I slammed my door shut and dived under my blankets, screaming and kicking the bed.
FLASH BACK END
I was cursed to see that sexy body of his, but also concerned. All of those scars he has ran from the shoulders, all the way to the legs.
I couldn't help but stand up and quietly made my way next to Eros, watching him sleep in peace.
"How do you do it?" I asked myself and began to recall the third time my heart skipped a beat.
FLASH BACK NUMBER THREE
I was in Luminos Square, running past many people to be the first to get a new game that came out.
And I was desperate enough to shove a few people to the side, the assholes if you will, and I could already see the store up ahead.
"Yes, there's no one in line!" I smiled and soon stood in front of the entrance, waiting for the store to open.
While waiting, I noticed a few guys were approaching me. They were your typical flirty type, always trying to rizz up any girl.
[I feel so bad for the author, even I cringed as they were forced to write this.]
"Hey there cutie, what's a girl like you doin here?" One of them asked me, trying to give me a flirty grin.
"Uh… just trying to get a new game before anyone else." I slowly began to back away from them, but one of them had wrapped their arm around my shoulder.
"Well, since your here alone, why don't we stay here to keep you company?" The first guys asked, blocking one side, while the third guy blocked the other.
At this point, I knew I was trapped. All I could do was lower my head and try not to look at these guys.
I could feel the first guys hand was moving lower, rubbing my arm, and I soon felt him about to grab my chest.
'Someone, help me!' I closed my eyes and gripped my skirt, I waited to feel the guys hand, I waited, and waited, yet I didn't feel it.
Instead, I felt the guy being pulled off of me, and the sound of struggling was heard. Followed by the sounds of fighting.
When I opened my eyes, I turned around to see Eros pinning the first guy against the wall. The guy struggled to break free, but Eros was holding him down with ease.
"Get off me man, we weren't doing anything wrong!" The two friends that had surrounded me made their way towards Eros, wanting to free their friend.
"Sorry, but I don't like when others try to touch what's mine!" Hearing him call me his caused something in my chest tighten, and my face to heat up.
But hearing him say that, had caused the three of them to be stunned at his words. Which was enough for me to slip away and run into him, playing along with his words.
"Babe, I told you to hurry up, you're always so slow." I whined, hugging him by his waist and placing my head up against his chest.
While at the same time, he placed his hand on my shoulder and pulling me close agaisnt him.
I could hear his heartbeat as my ear was pressed agaisnt his chest, thumping at a slow and steady pace.
"Sorry, but I had to help your brother with some things, you know how he and I get along." He said with a smile and soon turned to look at the guys.
"Can I help you three with anything?" His voice was calm, but his eyes showed hostility.
"Nah, we're all good." The three of them began to back away, and soon turned around to leave.
"Dude, did you see that guy? He's likely a part of the TOPS." One of them muttered, while the other two smacked the first guy.
"Shut up, do you want them to hear us?" The second guy said and soon rounded the corner.
Leaving both me and Eros in front of the game store. What's even worse, neither of us were moving apart, just staying where we were.
"Are you alright, Belle?" Eros asked me as he held me, I didn't raise my head. I only hid my face in his chest, but nodded that I was fine.
When in fact, I wasn't. I was panicking at how warm and soft he was. I recalled how he had muscles, and yet he was soft to the touch.
'If there is a god hearing me, kill me now!' I begged, instead, the door of the store opened up, and the staff inside were staring at us.
"We have a couple deal, buy two controllers get the second one half off." Eros opened his mouth to deny the staffs words, but I knew I couldn't let this deal go to waste.
"We'll take two!" I shouted and dragged him inside with me, not only buying the game, but the two controlllers as well.
FLASH BACK END
I know it was dumb of me to keep using him, but it was a good deal. Besides, I wouldn't use my brother for that situation.
But that's besides the point, the point is, I know how I felt about Eros, and I can't help but sigh at the thought.
I soon found myself holding my head up on the edge of the bed, staring at him again. I was even tempted to get closer, but I held off the thought.
He's mentioned a few of the sinners, and some of them look way hotter than me. I don't think I could have a chance.
But things took a turn for the better, I heard my phone vibrate on the coffee stand, and I grabbed it to see it was a message from Fairy.
{Master, there is no need to feel down, I was able to give you one thing that the sinners don't have.}
{And what's that?} Once I sent the messages, I was curious on what Fairy did. Sure she's an all powerful A.I, but she doesn't have a physical body.
{Eros owes me a favor, so I can have him go on a date with you.} I widened my eyes at the words.
I even rubbed them to make sure I was reading it right. Once I read it a few more times, I couldn't help but feel giddy.
{Fairy, you absolute genius, thank you, thank you, thank you!} I wanted to scream and cheer at the words, but I calmed myself and began to type once again.
{Of course. You are my master, I am willing to help you with whatever you need.} I smiled at the message and tucked it away, and before I want back to sleep.
I gave a quick peck on Eros's cheek, I then began to walk back the couch and lay on it. Closing my eyes with a smile on my face.
But for some reason, I felt somone glaring at me. Yet, when I sat up, I didn't see anyone. I only shrugged and laid back down, sleeping the night away.
Yet, as I slept, my phone began to act on its own. It opened up, and soon reached the messages, and the buttons began to type.
