On the other hand,the moon goddess laughed at King She knew that love has not been fair to him but their love was the only thing that could save the heavens and the earth.Their story was unfinished in their former life .She was not going to lose them again.King Aethon has always beign stubborn and had his way.He is a fearless beign and stronger than king's before but she was going to teach him that nothing can be greater than love .king Aethon then told the dragon,how did you allow this good for nothing human manipulate you?
Twinkle huffed and said manipulation?I guess that's all you do to people.Unfortunately,not everybody is like you.Its love, something you can never understand because I am sure you don't deserve one.
King Aethon looked at me ,his eyes focusing on my eyes .His voice shaking showing a side of him I never knew existed.He said have you tested the fire of love.Do you know what love has done to me.You have no idea what the word love has cost me.Sorry ,but even the word love knows that it has wronged someone.At his words,I knew that I had wronged him.His words were just words but you could feel the stings besides it,the pain the words had.As king Aethon said it,he raised my head up brushing a strand of my hair and said you don't know anything.At the king's touch,I could barely feel my legs,his touch were like waves of gentleness sending shivers down my spine sparking attraction.His touch were like a river deepening further making me sink into an emotion,I never knew existed.Mean while the dragon flew back.As Aethon and twinkle were still tangled in the moment,they heard a cough.They turned to it's direction only to see an old woman.She had the resemblance of the king .The woman asked,I hope I am not interrupting anything?
No ma,I quickly answered.She then held my hand gently dragging me away from the king.Afraid that a repetition of what happened before when I was dragged to the dungeon.I started begging the king,As I begged him,his beta arrived .I knelt down begging his beta as well.I said I did not do anything wrong but instead the king went away with his beta.I shouted,You are wicked,I just came back from one trouble and you want to force me to another one.I shouted as the woman dragged me.
King Aethon,his beta and the guards nearby laughed so hard . Looks like the palace would once more be filled with drama.Davis Said.I have never seen you laugh since 10 years. Said.

Meanwhile,the old woman who carried twinkle took her to a room where she was told to sit down .There was a young lady there and she introduced herself as Sarah the king's cousin sister.The old woman then told me that she is the king's aunty .I came to know that her name was vera.Aunty vera then asked me, Are you the king's mate?I was surprised.What is mate? Twinkle asked.Are you a human?Aunty vera asked and twinkle answered Yes ma.
Aunty Vera's eyes furrowed in confusion. She could swear that this was the king's mate. The way King Aethon looked at her, the touch, the expression—everything seemed different from what she had always seen in him. Could it be? Was his mate... human?
It didn't seem possible. Someone as powerful as King Aethon could never be bound to a human. What game was the Moon Goddess playing? Aunty Vera asked herself, trying to make sense of it all.
