Chapter 50 - Chapter 49

Third person point of view

The next morning, they met up for breakfast. Aravind felt a little awkward because Krishna now knew about them. " Don't need to be so nervous. I am supporting you guys ". Aravind chuckled and rubbed his neck. " But there is one problem though ". Aravind was alert again. " I would appreciate it if you call me babai from now on ".

Krishna said with a smile and Dev also laughed. Aravind felt his face heat up. He lowered his head. He really wanted to just bury himself somewhere in between those trees in the backyard. Krishna also laughed. " So you won't ? " Aravind looked up with wide eyes. " I will... babai ". " Good ". Krishna said and their breakfast was served.

They finished and Krishna went out. Aravind and Dev went to their room. Dev put his hand around Aravind's waist. " My mother and your mother address each other as vadina. You even called him babai. Looks like the only one who you are left to address is me. Come on now ". They already entered the room.

Dev put Aravind to the wall. Aravind's gaze wavered. " What should I call you ? " Dev leaned closer to his ear. " What would you call your aunt's son ? " Aravind frowned and thought about it. It finally hit him. He gasped and Dev knew he understood it. He trapped Aravind in place and leaned closer. " Say it cute boy ".

" Fuck off. No way ". Aravind's face turned red at once. " Why ? " Aravind puffed in anger. " I am not even a girl. What do you want by me calling you like that ? " Dev rolled his eyes. " What does being a girl have to do with that ? It is what it is no matter the gender. I call my relatives like that and they do too. So why not you ? Even friends call each other that ".

Aravind held his collar. " Don't pretend to be so pure. I can really beat you up ". Dev took his hands and pinned them behind his back. Their fronts were pressed together. " Say it please~ ". Dev kissed his lips. " I will ascend to heaven if you say it ". Aravind's face flushed harder. He snickered and looked away.

Dev was ready to let go when he heard Aravind say it. " Bava ". Dev froze and his hands tightened. Aravind pursed his lips and refused to look at Dev. " Say it again ". Aravind huffed. " Bava. Happy ? " He said it a little louder. Dev laughed and gave him a loud smooch. Aravind blushed and pushed him away.

He went to hide under the blanket. Dev went and hugged him along with the blanket. " You are so freaking cute. Come on~ You will suffocate yourself ". " It doesn't matter ". Dev laughed and convinced him some more before Aravind came out. Dev cuddled with him and they just spent time playing some games.

Aravind put his phone aside and noticed Dev looking serious while thinking about something. " What is it ? " " Just... about mavayya ". " You really want to find out who it was ? " Dev nodded. " If they are also single like Mavayya, then we have a chance to at least get them to meet right ? If he is married then there is nothing I can do about it ".

Aravind sighed. " Help me ". Dev said and Aravind rolled his eyes. " Where do we even start ? We know nothing about that person ". Dev let out a breath and thought about it. " Let's go ". He got up from the bed. " Where ? " Aravind asked but got out of bed and followed Dev. Dev went into a room and Aravind followed him.

" What room is this ? " Aravind asked looking around. " Mavayya's office ". Aravind's eyes went wide. " This can be considered trespassing and intrusion ". Dev continued to look around. " I am his family ". Aravind rubbed his temples. Dev did not care about that. " Come here and help me. Look for anything that can give us a clue ".

Aravind also joined him. There were a few books around. They flipped the pages to see if there was anything in them. But there was nothing in them. Dev opened the draws of the table. He found some papers in it. He closed it and opened another one and found some files in it. He let out a grunt and closed it.

He opened the last one and there were few more files but something caught his eye. Under all the files, there was a notebook. He carefully took it out. " I found it ". Dev said and Aravind put the book in his hand away and went to him. Dev opened it and at first it looked some class notes. He went to the back and opened from there.

He found a phone number there. Dev quickly typed it in his phone. He flipped the pages and went from the front again. There were notes in a few pages and after that there was a page with two different handwritings. The both of them looked at it. One was the handwriting which was the same as the notes and the other was someone else's.

What is your name ?

Vasu. Yours ?

Krishna. Which year ?

Third.

First.

The both of their eyes went wide. " So they met in college ". Dev said and Aravind nodded. " I do know the college which he studied in, but I don't know if they have records of someone from two decades ago ". Dev commented and flipped the page. The next page was just them talking about random things in their life.

Dev closed the book. He turned to Aravind who nodded. " Let's go ". Dev put the book in its place and they made sure nothing was out of place before walking out. Dev saved the phone number. They went back to their room. " Why are you so persistent about it ? " " Because of what he said. I also want him to be happy ". Aravind let out a breath.

" What do you want to do now ? " Dev thought about it. " From what it seems, they separated not because they wanted to. That is pretty clear. It doesn't feel like they were found out either. So there was something else ". Aravind agreed to it. " I find this name quite familiar though ". Dev said and Aravind raised an eyebrow. " How so ? "

" I am not sure but the name sounds that way ". Aravind shrugged. " Well... there are a lot of people with the same names ". Dev nodded. " You want to try calling the number ? " Aravind asked and Dev looked at it. He called it but a mechanical voice said the number was switched off. Dev sighed. They decided to leave it be. They just spent the day at home.
