Chapter 433 - Chapter 433: Marshal Akainu’s Pride Lasts Only Two Minutes

The movement of the six imperial pirate crews caused the entire sea to boil. The eyes of the world were fixed on the Six Emperors—the Marines, the World Government, underground brokers, and common citizens all watched with bated breath. Since the Four Emperors pattern was established, these massive powers usually stayed within their own territories. No one expected that shortly after the world shifted to a Six Emperors system, a global war would ignite so suddenly.

At Naval Headquarters, Fleet Admiral Akainu laughed loudly. "Hahahaha! Let them fight! The more that die, the more peace we will have on the sea!". Most Marines shared his joy, hoping the pirates would destroy one another and rid the world of their crimes.

However, Admiral Fujitora looked concerned. "Marshal, while this may seem like a good thing, a war of this scale is a disaster for the common people".

"Fujitora, I know how you feel, but short-term pain is better than long-term suffering!" Akainu explained with rare patience. "The Emperors have always been our greatest disaster. As long as they exist, Justice cannot reach the lands they occupy. Now that they are killing each other, we will wait until they are exhausted. When we strike to finish them off, all the people will truly be saved.". Fujitora remained silent. He understood that to eliminate a great evil, some sacrifices were often made. If the Marines could successfully act as the "fisherman" in this fight, the world might finally be free from the reign of pirates.

Admiral Ryokugyu asked carelessly, "So, Marshal, what is the plan? Should we split our forces?".

Akainu grinned, showing his teeth. "We won't divide our strength this time! The North Blue is the main battlefield. The Straw Hats, the Big Mom Pirates, the Beast Pirates, and the Blackbeard Pirates will all be there. We will move our entire force to watch from the sidelines. When the time is right, we will wipe out all four royal groups at once!". Akainu was full of confidence. He believed the Straw Hat crew was strong enough to deal massive damage to the other three groups, leaving them all vulnerable to a Marine ambush. As for the Whitebeard and Red Hair Pirates, he chose to ignore them for now, believing that Whitebeard's age would soon take him out of the race anyway.

However, Akainu's pride lasted less than two minutes before the situation changed.

A message arrived from Mariejois. An iron ball had flown into the courtyard of the Celestial Dragons, nearly killing one of them. Attached to the ball was a letter from the Revolutionary Army. The message was simple: in the coming days, they would use a "fruit multiplier" to manipulate cannons and launch a full-scale bombing of the Holy Land. The Celestial Dragons panicked, and the Five Elders were furious. No one had ever dared to threaten Mariejois so openly. The CP agents could not locate the hidden cannons, leaving the World Government in a passive and defensive position.

The Five Elders immediately ordered the Marines to send two Admirals to guard Mariejois. Even though the Holy Land was already protected by the Commander-in-Chief Kong and top CP agents, the threat of the Revolutionary Army was too great to ignore.

When Akainu received this order, he was so angry that smoke rose from his body, and his desk melted into magma. He realized exactly what was happening: the Revolutionary Army was covering for the Straw Hats. Since the leaders of the Revolutionaries were Luffy's father and brother, their goal was obvious. Yet, the Five Elders cared more about their own safety than this perfect chance to destroy the Emperors.

After a heated argument with the Five Elders, a compromise was reached. Akainu would send one Admiral along with the Admiral candidates, Momousagi and Chaton, to Mariejois. This was still a massive waste of combat power in Akainu's eyes. After consulting with Sengoku and Tsuru, it was decided that the new Admiral Ryokugyu would lead the defense of the Holy Land. Akainu himself would take Kizaru and Fujitora to the North Blue to oversee the war. The veterans—Sengoku, Garp, and Tsuru—would stay behind to guard Naval Headquarters.

Meanwhile, in an unknown location, Monkey D. Dragon and Sabo were finalizing their plans.

"It shouldn't be a problem, boss," Sabo said with a smile. "Even a stubborn man like Akainu has to obey the Five Elders. By threatening the Holy Land, we've forced them to keep their high-level fighters away from the North Blue."

"Good, but you still need to go to the North Blue yourself," Dragon replied thoughtfully. "The balance of the Six Emperors cannot be broken yet. If the Marines become too powerful, it will be bad for our cause. We need the pirates to exhaust the strength of the World Government. Only when they are weak can we truly liberate the sea.". Sabo nodded solemnly, understanding that their interference was necessary to keep the flames of revolution alive.
