High in the sky over Dressrosa, Monkey D. Luffy and Donquixote Doflamingo continued their violent collision. Luffy, remaining in Second Gear, utilized his advanced Observation Haki to predict Doflamingo's movements, combined with the power of Armament Haki and the destructive force of Conqueror's Haki infusion. Luffy felt confident that he might not even need Fourth Gear to finish this; at most, Third Gear would be enough to bring the Warlord down.
Doflamingo was visibly agitated. He knew Luffy possessed a more powerful form, yet the fact that Luffy hadn't felt the need to use it made him feel both relieved and insulted. He realized that even with the potential chaos caused by the proximity of the Beasts Pirates and Blackbeard's crew, his reign was reaching its end.
"Straw Hat Luffy!" Doflamingo roared. "I haven't offended you or stood in your way. Why are you so obsessed with taking me down? Is it just because of Law?".
Luffy looked at him with a simple, direct gaze. "You are in my way! Tora-o is my partner, and his enemy is my enemy. I don't like what you've done to this country. Since you're a roadblock, I'm going to knock you down!".
Doflamingo screamed in fury, unable to comprehend a pirate acting on such a sense of justice. Luffy didn't waste any more breath on words. He bit into his thumb and blew, expanding his fist while coating it in black Haki. Doflamingo tried to defend himself with a Spider's Web wall of strings, but it was smashed instantly. He resorted to his Awakening, turning the surrounding buildings into a massive wave of white lines to cushion the blow, but the impact of Luffy's Conqueror's Haki still sent him reeling, worsening his previous internal injuries.
Near the palace, Sabo and the others watched the battle. Sabo confirmed that the Revolutionary Army had secured the Munitions and Devil Fruits from Doflamingo's warehouses.
"Aren't you going to say hello to Luffy?" Mr. 3 asked.
Sabo shook his head. "Not this time. Sengoku, Kizaru, and other World Government agents are too close. Tell Luffy that as long as we're alive, we'll meet again".
Sabo then leaped into the air. Using his Dragon Claw technique, he punched a massive hole through Doflamingo's Birdcage and flew out. Doflamingo watched in shock as his "invincible" cage was easily breached by a top-tier powerhouse.
Suddenly, the Birdcage shook again. Kaido, in his massive form, struck the cage with his mace, tearing another giant gap and flying into the city. He was followed by Blackbeard, Sengoku, Vice Admiral Tsuru, and Admiral Kizaru. Kaido didn't care who had set up the cage; he simply smashed through it to reach the battlefield.
Carl, who was currently pinning Jack the Drought to the ground, laughed at the sight. In this world, the "unbreakable" Birdcage was no match for those who mastered high-level Haki.
"Boss! Kaido-san! Help me!" Jack cried out from under Carl's boot.
Seeing one of his Lead Performers being humiliated, Kaido flew into a rage. "You brat, Carl! How dare you treat my crew like that! Thunder Bagua!".
Kaido swung his lightning-wrapped mace with enough force to sink an island. Carl quickly grabbed Jack and threw him directly into the path of the attack. The mace slammed into Jack's face, sending him flying over a kilometer through several buildings until he fainted.
"Jack!" Kaido roared. He shifted into his Full Zoan azure dragon form and wreathed himself in flames even hotter than magma. He launched his ultimate move: Flame Dragon Torch: Flaming Eight Trigrams.
Sengoku and the other Marines watched with concern, knowing how devastating this attack was. Even the former Fleet Admiral hesitated to take such a blow head-on. Carl, however, stood his ground and drew both of his swords, preparing a massive technique to meet the Emperor of the Sea.
