As the fight between Origin and Velzard ended, and after the fight was finished, both Origin and Velzard shook hands. At that moment, Veldanava approached them and said,
"Since the fight is over, let's go outside."
He opened up a portal to leave the dimension in which the fight had taken place. The three—Origin, Velzard, and Veldanava—stepped inside the portal. When the portal opened up in the Heavenly Palace, the three of them stepped out.
Velzard looked at her elder brother and said,
"Elder Brother Veldanava, I will take my leave. You can continue to talk with Origin."
Just as she was about to leave, Origin sensed a strong presence. He turned around and saw a beautiful, androgynous, human-like figure with dark blue eyes and blonde hair.
Origin, upon seeing him, immediately understood who he was just by sensing his presence. This was Feldway, the First of the Primordial Angels, the leader of their group, and the first creation of God. This man carried too many titles. He was also the greatest devotee—practically a biggest simp—for Sir Veldanava.
Origin also knew that the body Feldway was using here was a fake, not his true body. The True Body which had been given to him as a gift by Sir Veldanava, and Feldway must have stored his true body somewhere. Yet, even in this fake body, Feldway was quite powerful. If Origin had to say, he could even fight Velzard. As Origin remembered from the Light Novel in future, Feldway was stated to have defeated Velgrynd using only his fake body.
On top of that, he had even been given a Genesis Grade Sword.
Genesis-grade equipment, as its name implies, is the most powerful equipment in the entire cosmology, of which only seven exist. They are so powerful that if their user isn't strong enough, their power will corrode their body. However, it is possible to disguise them as god-grade equipment by sealing most of their power, making them safe to use.
As Origin thought of all this, he sighed. As expected of the First Creation of God, he was even gifted a Genesis Grade Sword—Ark. This guy has all his stats upgraded just for playing. What a menace.
Finally, as Origin looked at Feldway, the angel stepped closer to Veldanava and said,
"Lord Veldanava, you have returned. Did you go into a personal dimension to train Velzard?"
Veldanava replied calmly,
"No, you've got it wrong, Feldway. I went to the personal dimension because Velzard wanted to fight Origin."
Hearing this, Feldway asked,
"Lord Veldanava, who is this… Origin?"
Veldanava pointed at Origin and said,
"Well, he is Origin—a human. And he is a very close friend of mine. He will be staying at the Heavenly Palace with us."
Hearing this, Feldway was shocked beyond measure. How could a mere human become friends with Lord Veldanava? But before he could say anything, Velzard added,
"Yes, Origin is indeed very strong. He defeated me very easily, without any effort."
Hearing what Velzard said, Origin responded quickly,
"You're making me look too powerful, Velzard. In fact, you also put up a lot of fight, and I enjoyed our battle battle."
While Origin said this, Feldway was once again shocked beyond measure. He had just received two shocks in a row.
First: Lord Veldanava had made a human his friend.
Second: this human, named Origin, had defeated Velzard.
He knew that as a True Dragon, Velzard was second only to Lord Veldanava. Even Feldway himself could not defeat her unless he used his true body—the one crafted for him by Lord Veldanava. And now, he was hearing that this human had easily defeated Velzard? That alone was enough to make him stagger internally and take Origin seriously.
Especially because Feldway also knew that Velzard had an Ultimate Skill from the Virtue Series: Patience King Gabriel gifted to her by Lord Veldanava. That meant this human Origin must also have an Ultimate Skill of his own—likely an extremely powerful one at that.
Looking seriously at Origin, Feldway decided to properly introduce himself. After all, since this human was a close friend of Lord Veldanava, he had to be special.
"I am Feldway, the leader of the group of Primordial Angels," he said, stretching out his hand. Feldway knew that in human world, introductions were often made this way. Since he had been tasked many times with subduing various monsters and demons that ravaged the human world, he had learned these customs while saving many kingdoms.
Origin looked at Feldway's extended hand and shook it.
"Well, I am Origin Averion, a normal human who was saved by Sir Veldanava when my world was destroyed and I fell into the huge space void."
Hearing this, Feldway was once again surprised. Origin had survived the huge space void and been saved by Lord Veldanava? That must mean this human was indeed special.
As Feldway thought about this after shaking Origin's hand, Origin observed him quietly. He couldn't reconcile this present Feldway with the one he remembered from the Light Novel—the future Feldway who wanted to destroy the Cardinal World and everything within it, all in the hope of forcing Sir Veldanava to return.
But how could Feldway know? If Sir Veldanava wanted to return, he could do so at any time. Even if he had become a normal human with a normal lifespan, his status and essence as an immortal True Dragon meant he could return whenever he wished. Even if he lost all his powers in the future by becoming human, he could simply regain them whenever he wanted.
But in the Light Novel's future, he never did return—even when the Cardinal World faced destruction many times. That must mean he had his own reasons. Yet Feldway in the future believed otherwise. He thought that Lord Veldanava had abandoned everyone. So he hated the world and wanted to revive Veldanava by any means possible—even if it meant destroying the Cardinal World by forcing him to return to protect the World.
He even went as far as mind controlling Veldanava's daughter, Milim Nava, and forcing her to destroy the world.
But if we really think about it, Origin mused, most protagonists of stories have the most powerful backgrounds. And if we look at the entire world—no, the entire cosmology—who can compare to Milim's background?
In the future, her uncles and aunts were True Dragons: Veldora, Velgrynd, and Velzard. Her other uncle from her mother's side was the Hero of the Beginning, Rudra Ul Nam Nasca. Her mother, Lucia Nasca, was one of the most powerful women, possessing the Ultimate Skill Raphael before Rimuru obtained it after her death. She had even mastered holy magic to high levels that surprised Guy Crimson. And Milim's father? The Creator God, Veldanava himself.
Looking at it this way, Milim's family connections spanned the entire cosmology. She herself was an overwhelmingly overpowered girl.
But if we looked at the current Feldway, he seemed the perfect subordinate, completing every task assigned by Sir Veldanava without hesitation a perfect subordinates a Boss could ask for.
Let's forget about that, Origin sighed, pulling his mind back to the present. He called out to Feldway,
"Feldway, since you came here, you must have something to report to Sir Veldanava, right?"
Hearing this, Feldway, who had been lost in thought, immediately reacted and said to Veldanava,
"Lord Veldanava, I wanted to report that Twilight Valentine is perfectly executing your order of creating many diverse races in the world, such as High-Humans, Vampires, and many more."
Veldanava nodded. "It seems that Twilight is perfectly following my instructions."
Feldway added, "But Lord Veldanava, I think you need to control Twilight. He is becoming more and more unstable, experimenting on many races and creating new ones like High-Dwarves and High-Elves. These are the results of his experiments, which may cause problems later on to the world."
Origin, hearing the name Twilight from Feldway, thought, Indeed… Twilight. From what I remember in Volume 22 of the Light Novel, this guy isn't truly evil. He's simply the ultimate egoist, willing to do anything for himself regardless of whether it's good or bad. He doesn't care to rule or destroy the world—he only cares about his experiments and satisfying his greed for knowledge.
In short, he's a perfect example of a mad scientist. Every cosmology has one, I guess.
From what Origin remembered, not much was known about Twilight. He had even created High Elves by using High Wind Elemental Spirits, and High Dwarves by using High Earth Elemental Spirits, giving them physical bodies.
Origin, thinking about all of this, felt curious about meeting Twilight Valentine—the so-called Ancestor of All Races. He caused many problems in the world that needed to be taken care off he was called a pain in the ass by Rain a Primordial Daemon in the future since she was ordered many times to clean up his mess.
Veldanava said to Feldway, "Since Twilight is diverting from my intentions, Feldway, go and warn him. Tell him to stop these experiments before they cause great harm to the world."
Feldway nodded. "Yes, Lord Veldanava. I will go and inform Twilight after completing my duties."
Origin then said to Veldanava, "Sir Veldanava, if possible, I would also like to meet Twilight Valentine."
Veldanava answered simply, "Since you want to meet him, you can go with Feldway tomorrow." He then looked at Feldway. "Is it okay if Origin tags along with you?"
Feldway replied, "Of course not—I wouldn't mind at all if Origin comes with me to meet Twilight."
After saying this, Feldway bid farewell to Lord Veldanava and left. Velzard also said her goodbyes to her elder brother and to Origin, promising to meet them later. That left only Origin and Veldanava.
Just as Origin was about to leave, Veldanava stopped him.
"Well, Origin, you must know most of the things about my world through that Light Novel, right?"
Origin replied, "Well, not everything, but most of it can be used as a reference."
Veldanava nodded. "You are right. Then let me ask you: how much do you know about Genesis Grade Weapons?"
Origin answered, "Genesis-grade weapons, as their name implies, are the most powerful equipment in the entire cosmology. Only seven exist. They are so powerful that if their user isn't strong enough, their power will corrode their body. However, it is possible to disguise them as god-grade equipment by sealing most of their power, making them safe to use."
Veldanava nodded again. "Correct. Originally, I created them for the Seven Primordial Angels. But I found that they were not capable of wielding them—it was too powerful for them. Well, except Feldway so, who has Ark, which was given to him by me since he can wield it."
Origin nodded and asked, "But why are you asking this, Sir Veldanava?"
Veldanava smiled. "Well, Origin, you'll be staying here for a long time, right? How about I give you a welcome gift—a Genesis Grade Sword?"
Origin's mind went blank. Is this true? He thought frantically, That's a Genesis Grade Sword! In the Marvel cosmology, its status would be equivalent to the Original Six Infinity Stones of Nemesis!
But excitement also flooded him. He had long wanted a weapon, but other weapons were too weak and useless for him. A weapon created by a True Creator God level, though—that would be interesting and worthwhile a capable weapon for him.
"Sir Veldanava," he said carefully, "are you sure you want to give a Genesis Grade Weapon to me, rather than someone from your cosmology?"
Veldanava laughed. "The Genesis Grade Sword that I'll give you is not one of the ones already in existence. It will be a brand-new creation just for you think of it as a gift."
Origin's excitement grew. He would even participate in the creation of a Genesis Grade Weapon.
Both he and Veldanava teleported away to The Void—a place where nothing existed a realm of nothingness a place outside all creation where nothing could exist it was outside all the multiverse and different dimensions. This was the only place where Genesis Grade Weapons could be created, as the emptiness allowed for unrestricted creation. As only Veldanava and Origin could survive here as Origin already experienced The Void in his Marvel Cosmology as he was simply born and existed and trained with Old Man OAA there before the creation of The First Firmament.
Veldanava began constructing the sword, adding his own energy, magicules, stardust, and StarHeart and every powerful unique materials into its formation. Then he asked Origin to add his own core energy so that the weapon could bond with him.
Origin graciously gave away 50% of his core energy—a huge amount for him, but something that would recover in a few days. As he watched Veldanava add his own core energy, the Void around them began to glow and tremble.
Origin felt it—the sword being born would be as powerful as his Ultimate Skill. The shaking and glowing continued for several minutes before it finally stopped.
Floating before them was a beautiful sword, its edge blacker than the abyss yet burning with molten veins of gold at its core.
Origin was awestruck. The sword radiated terrifying energy. Any lower being present here would have been erased just by the waves of energy leaking from it.
Veldanava looked at the sword and sighed. "Well, Origin, this sword, like your Ultimate Skill, is overpowered."
"Why do you say that, Sir Veldanava?" Origin asked.
Veldanava explained, "Most Genesis Grade Swords I created have one, two, or three abilities at most. But yours… its abilities are very strong. Let's talk about them."
Passive Ability
Infinite Evolution: The sword continuously evolves with its wielder, adapting to any threat, power, or law of existence.
Active Abilities
Destruction of All Things: Capable of destroying anything, regardless of eternity, infinity, or divine protection.
Destruction of Reason: Erases the reason behind phenomena.
Irrelevance of Distance and Dimensions: Attacks ignore space, time, and dimensional barriers.
Negation of Concepts: Destroys concepts themselves, even "nothingness" or "death."
Self-Destruction: The sword can erase even itself, along with everything it's bound to.
Formless Adaptation: Can freely change its form at the wielder's command. Forms include sword, dagger, spear, scythe, bow, gun, or any imaginable weapon. Each form retains all destructive abilities without losing power.
As Origin heard the abilities of his Genesis Grade Sword, he felt like his mind was about to crash. What the hell, man? What kind of sword is this?!
Then Veldanava asked, "Origin, what are your Existence Points—your E.P.?"
Origin thought for a moment. "Around 180 million points."
Veldanava nodded. "Well, when holding a Genesis Grade Weapon, your E.P. will increase. This sword, in particular, will raise your E.P. by more than 90 million points."
Origin was shocked again. What kind of luck do I have?! First an overpowered Ultimate Skill, and now an overpowered Genesis Grade Sword?!
Immediately, Origin started praying and thanking the True God of the Tensura cosmology. As for his face and pride as a Concept of Energy, he mused wryly, In front of a True Creator God level being, my pride and fac is worth as much as a tissue paper. So never be too arrogant and always remain humble.
After thanking the god, he stepped forward and took the Genesis Grade Sword into his hands. At once, he felt his energy reserves increase dramatically. His strength had grown—slightly, but noticeably. He began swinging the sword to get a feel for it.
"Do you want to name it?" Veldanava asked.
Origin paused. Naming the weapon would make it even more powerful and grant it pseudo-sentience. After thinking for a moment, he said,
"Sir Veldanava, I will name this Genesis Grade Sword… Oblivion."
As soon as he said the name, more than 40% of his energy flowed into the sword. It glowed slightly, acknowledging Origin as its master. The sword then transformed into a chain that could wrap around the neck.
Origin put it around his neck.
Seeing this, Veldanava asked curiously, "Why did you do that?"
Origin shrugged. "Well, it looks cool to have a sword chain on my neck. So I did it."
Veldanava laughed. "You won't miss a chance to look cool, will you, Origin?"
"Of course," Origin replied with a grin.
And with that, both Veldanava and Origin teleported away from the Void, returning to the Heavenly Palace.
