Aurora already knew about the wedding gift but did not anticipate receiving so much.
"Would you like to open it now?"
Tina asked, her bright smile reflecting her overflowing excitement. She was eager to find out what Aurora's in-laws had gifted her.
Aurora felt pensive as she recalled Alex. She didn't deserve these gifts and needed to consult him before opening them.
"No, I'll do it later," she responded casually, her eyes drifting toward the coffee maker in her study room.
'Should I visit Alex at his office?' she wondered, glancing at her watch. It was already five o'clock, and he usually needed his coffee.
"Ma'am, is there anything you'd like me to help with? If not, I will head back to my house. But don't hesitate to call me immediately if you need anything..."
Tina's voice pulled Aurora from her thoughts. She smiled and nodded, saying, "Aunty, you can return to your house. Yes, I'll call right away if I need your help."
