Chapter 185 - Two New Worlds.

— — — — — —

『Ordinary Human』: One month?

『Ordinary Human』: Sure, I trust your family.

『Ordinary Human』: If needed, you can even use my name to smooth over any unnecessary trouble…

Fujiwara Estate.

After receiving tentative approval from Veyron, Chika Fujiwara found herself feeling a little conflicted.

Her grandfather—the man she had always seen as calm, composed, and unshakable—had just totally lost his cool from excitement.

Slightly baffled, Chika typed into the chat to relay her grandfather's words.

『Earth's Cancer』: Grandpa says, "Give us 30 years and—"

『Ordinary Human』: No need to go that far. I mean, let's be real—this world's basically an isekai for me. I don't care what you do, just don't bother me.

Reading that line—"Give us 30 years"—Veyron raised an eyebrow. The head of the Fujiwara family really did sound like a seasoned political veteran.

Like this strange world will be the same after 30 or even 5 years.

Every time he entered this world, Veyron had a habit of using his divine Will to scan the entire planet.

And he'd clearly noticed something odd. Maybe it was a result of multiple worlds fusing together.

But in particular country—now with a population of over 4 billion—was definitely building toward something big.

Japan had the quality—its elites were among the most talented in the world (well it was anime ff after all). China, on the other hand, brought quantity, sheer numbers that were just as intimidating.

And as humans kept evolving, even the most advanced weapons started to lose their effectiveness. The balance of global power slowly began shifting—from the West to the East.

Back in the nation of four billion, Veyron watched them move with purpose. If he didn't know better—if he hadn't seen which worlds had merged into this new "World-∞"—he might've honestly thought he'd landed in some kind of martial arts fantasy world.

What amazed him the most? Every country had found its own unique path to strength. Even the Western powers, sensing their near decline, were pouring everything they had into developing their people.

And honestly? With that kind of future potential brewing across the globe, Veyron figured it was best to step back—and let the world evolve on its own.

...

『Earth's Cancer』: No problem.

『Earth's Cancer』: Grandpa says, "I got this."

『Ordinary Human』: …

After finishing his chat with Fujiwara Chika, Veyron glanced at the clock. It was already getting late—might as well pull an all-nighter at this point.

Now the question was: whose place should he crash at?

He thought for a moment.

This time around, out of the five people who really knew him well—Saeko Busujima, Saya Takagi, Rika Minami, Shizuka Marikawa, and Yuriko Takagi—four had been filled.

Only one hadn't.

And that just wouldn't do.

With a casual twist of the air in front of him, a portal leading straight to Umbrella Corporation HQ opened up before him.

"Vey?!"

Yuriko Takagi, her gaze soft as water, greeted him the moment he stepped through.

The Next Morning

After a full-body, inside-out, top-to-bottom round, Yuriko Takagi was practically glowing with energy.

Bright and early, she gathered Umbrella's senior staff into the meeting room and laid out the company's development plans for the coming weeks.

The fallout from the chaos Veyron stirred up yesterday wasn't just limited to Japan.

In fact, the real eye of the storm… was America.

They'd gambled hard, using Japan as a chess piece on the global stage—only to lose everything in the end.

And thanks to Veyron's… questionable sense of humor when the worlds fused, Umbrella's headquarters just so happened to be located right in the heart of America. They controlled huge swaths of inland territory, plus several newly risen coastal mega-cities.

If she didn't take this golden opportunity to launch a massive expansion, Yuriko felt like she'd be letting down the absurdly powerful Umbrella Corporation Veyron had handed over to her.

After quietly listening in for a bit and confirming Yuriko's strategic plan was sound, Veyron gave her a quick telepathic message of approval. Then, without hesitation, he opened a portal straight to Excellent Girls' Academy.

Back at the academy, with nothing urgent on his plate, Veyron stood still for a moment, thinking.

May as well throw up a barrier while I'm here.

He had already revealed himself openly the night before, so there was no need to keep hiding.

As his divine will spread outward, a large-scale, invisible barrier quietly formed over the school grounds.

It was a custom-made version, crafted by hand based on the Lunar Capital's Great Barrier and the technique Eirin Yagokoro used to protect Eientei. It blocked all surveillance—from machines or the naked eye—no matter the distance or angle. On top of that, it could repel malicious intent and act as a passive defense system.

Once the barrier was active, anything carrying malicious intent would lose its way if it got within ten meters of the school. And even if someone wasn't hostile but lacked proper authorization, the moment they stepped into school grounds, a warning would be sent to designated badge holders.

Veyron called over Rika Minami, who handled campus security, and Kiriko Miyamoto, who managed logistics. He handed them both the access terminal and the first batch of entry passes—badges styled like an upgraded school emblem, updated with his authority.

These would be distributed to students and staff later on.

Once Rika and Kiriko left the office, he summoned Saeko Busujima and Saya Takagi next.

He gave them updated curriculum materials for both the martial arts and meditation classes.

After several months of supernatural training—especially with deep-sea monster meat as supplemental nutrition—the top students had nearly reached the upper limit of what the first-level body training technique could offer, codenamed "Ordinary Human 200%."

It was time to start them on advanced-level material.

Once Saeko and Saya left, the office fell silent—until a strange, layered voice echoed softly near Veyron's ear, formed by the overlapping resonance of different voices. It was the World Will's voice.

「Do you have any plans next?」

"No, nothing at the moment."

Veyron shook his head slightly. "Why? Something you need me to take care of?"

「We've established contact with two world wills—confirmed harmless and willing to merge with us.」

"Two of them? Are their worlds… close to ours in the Void?"

「Not exactly.」

「When we first made contact, you were out. We could've sent the message through that thing, but we weren't sure if it would disturb what you were doing, so we figured we'd wait until you came back.」

Well, that's unexpectedly thoughtful of them.

"All right, send me the coordinates for both. I'll go check things out."

「Got it.」

Just as the voices faded, the Superdimensional Chat Group system popped up two prompts in front of Veyron:

[Would you like to teleport to the mission world now?]

Two blinking windows. Two new worlds.
