"Where are you Nathen" is what James said shortly after Noah Emma and he left. Me and the boy called Nick and the two creepy twins headed to the last known location of Ethan which led us back into the city and to an abandoned metal factory. Looking around I saw signs of forced entry so we decided it best to take caution as we entered. There was a chance it could have just been a homeless man or a group of kids but it was too dangerous to risk. We snuck in and looked around the once pristine factory now a husk of its former self with rusted tools and walls and dust covering almost every surface.
"Nick you and the twins search the left wing I'll take the right"
Nick nodded, not saying a word. Once they were out of sight I began to move. I swept the halls quiet and cautiously. I checked each room one by one but I couldn't find Ethan. When I reached the end of the hall there was only one door left. I reached for the handle but stopped myself when I inspected closer I saw the handle which should have been covered in dust had a handprint across the length. Someone was in here I slowly reached for the door but before I could feel my hand touch the cold metal the door flew of its hinges and straight at me pinning me to the wall I Pushed the door of me and just narrowly a punch which broke through the wall behind me looking forward I saw Ethan who while a bit more dishevelled was clearly the same person Adrian had shown us and upon a closer look I could see the resemblance between him and Nate. Ethan grabbed me by my collar and threw me down the hall I tumbled and crashed into the wall standing up I prepared for Ethans next attack suddenly he swiped his hand and a purple oval appeared in front of him and he jumped through and appeared behind me he tried to punch me but I spun on my heels and blocked the blow with my staff. I jumped back and ran at Ethan, Ethan swiped his hand and a purple oval shot at me but I was just able to roll out the way which brought me close enough to strike Ethan with my staff. I struck Ethan in his ribs and sent him crashing into the wall. Ethan blocked another swing from my staff and kicked me in the chest which sent me flying into the main area of the factory. I crashed into one of the metal tables causing the rusted tools to fly off. Ethan dashed towards me. I stood and tried to block the attack but Ethan was too fast as he grabbed me by the face and slammed into through the metal table breaking it in two. I spat out a mouthful of warm blood as I felt my back crack upon impact. Ethan lifted me and created a portal behind me he lifted me towards the portal but before he could do anything Nick punched Ethan in the side of his head which sent Ethan crashing into the work tables. Ethan stood and shot towards Nick who reinforced his arms with energy and blocked the punch. The force of the punch still sent Nick skidding back Ethan dashed at him but the 2 twins Rowan and Asher jumped in-between Ethan and Nick Asher blocked the blow with his weapon and Rowan kicked him back. Ethan stumbled for a moment but quickly composed himself. Ethan swiped his hand and disappeared into one of his portals then he appeared behind Rowan and grabbed him. Asher quickly plunged his weapon into Ethans shoulder and he tried to grab Rowan but Ethan pulled him back into the portal which closed just as Asher was about to grab Rowan.
"ROWAN"
The scream that came from Asher was filled with rage which surprised me since the boy usually spoke I'm a low monotone voice. I look at Nick but.
"Shit Asher be careful he's trying to pick us of one by one"
I stood in a defensive stance and lookEd around waiting because when I looked to where Nick was just a moment ago he had vanished. Just then a portal appeared just under Asher. I jumped towards him but was too late as Asher was pulled under. I rolled and landed and quickly jumped out the way of another portal that opened below me. Ethan jumped from another portal behind me and I swung my staff which connect with Ethan's skull sending him crashing into the wall Ethan swiped his hand and a portal opened next to me and rusted tools shot out and pierced my shoulder I stumbled back and was tackled by Ethan who pushed us I to a portal suddenly we were outside the factory Barling towards the ground then we went through another portal and we're near the beach side and we crashed into the sand then I remembered what Adrian had said.
"He can only teleport to places he can see" Ethan rushed at me and thinking fast and rushed towards him picked up a clump of sand and threw it into Ethans eyes. Ethan tumbled back rubbing his eyes and I struck him again and again but Ethan still was able to react and grabbed my staff which he snapped in two and threw to the side. Shifting to the side and dodging a punch from Ethan which he threw in my general direction. Enforcing my fists with energy I clocked him in the jaw sending him tumbling into the sand. Ethan landed and stood up and opened his bloodshot eyes then he was behind me and we were back hoping through portal after portal. We teleported through the city. We landed on a rooftop and I felt my back crash against a metal railing which bent under the force. Ethan walked up and kicked me off the roof. I braced myself but was lucky enough to fall on another roof not too far down. I stood enforcing my legs with energy and shot up at Ethan who shot down towards me we both threw are punched which collided causing a shock wave which broke the surrounding windows even with my enforced fists Ethan was still stronger and I was sent pluminting into the building Ethan landed on top of me and grab me by the neck. My vision began to blur as a bright purple light emitted from beneath me and the floor gave out. Everywhere around me was purple with sparks of rippling energy coursing through. My eyes slowly closed as the black darkness began to take over and I had only one thought on my mind.
"Where are you Nathen".
