"INGRID!!!!"
"INGRID WAKE UP!!!"
I instantly jumped out of bed as I looked around in alarm until Joy burst into the room grinning from ear to ear with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. It took a while for me to fully settle in as she approached me.
"He sent you freaking tulips, Ingrid! Tulips!!!" She shrieked in excitement and I frowned.
"Who?"
But instead of answering, she handed me the flowers and I found a pink paper neatly folded and placed in-between the flowers.
Taking it out, I carefully dropped the flowers on my bed and opened it to read what was written. It read;

What have you done to me, beautiful lady?
Last night when I lay in bed, I thought of you and only you until my answer came…
~
I blinked once and then twice as I re-read what was written on the piece of paper in disbelief.
"Oh God, isn't he romantic?" Joy squealed in delight and I slowly looked at her.
