Dominic's POV
I didn't know how I got to Gia, all I knew was that Gia was in trouble. One second, I was shouting at a police for blocking me from entering the factory and the next, the sound of metal crunching slammed into me like a gunshot. Tires screeched. My body moved before thought even kicked in. I was running, heart pounding, vision tunneling. This can't be happening again.
"GIA!"l
She was still in the car. The white sedan rammed into her again, harder this time. The jolt shook the frame, but somehow she held on. I caught a flash of her face, it was focused and fierce. Her knuckles gripped the wheel like it owed her blood. I knew what she wanted to do before she did it. I was screaming her name to get her to stop but she didn't even see me.
