Chapter 97 - Chapter 97

### Chapter:97

Title :The Sound of Destruction

The chapter opens with **Headless**, his grotesque mouth on his chest, forming a swirling orb of sound waves. The orb pulses with chaotic energy, vibrating the air around him as it grows larger and more unstable. Without hesitation, Headless releases the orb, sending a massive wave of destructive sound hurtling across the battlefield. The attack is impossibly fast, engulfing everything in its path.

The sound wave reaches **Jayesh** and **Dinesh** first, slamming into them with brutal force. Blood begins to trickle from their ears, the sheer intensity of the attack overwhelming their defenses. The wave doesn't stop there—it extends further, striking **Sakamoto** and **Rajesh** with equal ferocity. The paralysis from Headless's previous attacks is nothing compared to this; the sound wave doesn't just immobilize—it *destroys*. The floating island itself trembles under the force, its edges crumbling into the void below.

But **Rajesh** acts quickly. With a roar of effort, he summons his **Phoenix flaming wings**, the fiery appendages erupting from his back in a blaze of golden light. He steps in front of Sakamoto, using the wings as a shield to deflect the worst of the sound wave. The blast collides with the wings, the force of the impact sending shockwaves rippling through the air. The sound wave is diverted, but the damage is done—the floating island is instantly chopped, a massive chunk of it breaking away and plummeting into the abyss.

Rajesh doesn't stop there. Channeling his energy, he extends a protective aura to Jayesh and Dinesh, coating their bodies in a shimmering layer of Phoenix energy. The bleeding from their ears stops, and the pain subsides, but the damage is already severe. Dinesh's hand, which had been bleeding profusely, is healed instantly by the Phoenix energy, though his arm—lost in the battle—remains gone forever but the properties of the Phoenix healing energy has stopped the blood loss .

Sakamoto stares at Rajesh, his eyes filled with concern. He can see the toll the Phoenix power is taking on his master. "Rajesh, you need to stop," Sakamoto says, his voice firm but laced with worry. "You're pushing yourself too far."

Rajesh shakes his head, his breathing labored. "If I hadn't intervened, it would've been worse," he replies, gesturing to the devastation around them. Look around the island is almost dangerous, almost half of the floating island is gone, reduced to rubble by Headless's attack. Sakamoto's eyes widen as he takes in the destruction, but he quickly steels himself.

"You've done enough," Sakamoto says, stepping forward. "I'll take it from here."

---

"You're not stupid,Are you" says Rajesh

Sakamoto strides toward Headless, his movements deliberate and filled with purpose. Headless's chest-mouth, which had been wide open during the attack, begins to close, the grotesque orifice sealing shut with a sickening squelch. But Sakamoto is already in front of him, his presence commanding and unyielding.

"I'm going to fight you now," Sakamoto declares, his voice calm but carrying an edge of steel.

Beside him, **Jayesh** steps forward, his expression grim. He mutters under his breath, "**The Most Dark**," and an explosion of dark energy ripples outward. His transformation takes hold, his axe reappearing in his hand, its blade crackling with ominous power. Jayesh's eyes scan the battlefield, and he realizes with a start that Headless's left hand is missing. He searches the area but finds nothing—no trace of where it could have gone.

--

Before anyone can react, a bloodcurdling scream pierces the air. It's **Dinesh**. Headless's missing hand has materialized from the ground in front of him, shooting forward and grabbing him by the throat. The grip is vice-like, cutting off his air supply as he struggles helplessly.

Jayesh and Sakamoto turn to see Dinesh choking, but as they do, Headless blitzes forward with terrifying speed. Rajesh screams at them to focus, but it's too late. Headless grabs Sakamoto with his other hand, lifting him off the ground and pinning him through the air. With a swift rotation, Headless sends a powerful kick toward Jayesy as he caught off guard focusing on Dinesh, who barely manages to dodge, appearing in front of Dinesh to help him.

But as Jayesh reaches out to free Dinesh from the choking hand, he realizes the truth—it's an illusion. There is no hand. Dinesh isn't being choked. The entire scene was a fabrication, a product of Headless's **Hallucination Art: Genesis of Phantasm**.

"Dinesh, Dinesh are you okay" he said,

"What's wrong with you? What's the fear in your eyes" Dinesh asked…..

Jayesh's eyes widen in shock realizing the situation . "When did he—? How did he do this? He hasn't broken completely free from the Shen-blocking technique!"

Rajesh, still struggling to catch his breath, explains, "It's a mini-technique. It doesn't require much Shen to initiate. That's why I was screaming for you to focus!"

### Headless's True Move

As they turn their attention back to Headless, they see that both of his hands are intact. The illusion was a distraction, and it worked perfectly. Headless now has Sakamoto firmly in his grasp, his grip tightening around his throat. With a powerful leap, Headless ascends into the air, attempting to escape with his captive.

Rajesh, Jayesh, and Dinesh realize the gravity of the situation. If Headless escapes with Sakamoto, all hope may be lost. Rajesh's expression hardens as he makes a decision.

"I guess I'll have to use it," he says, his voice filled with resolve. "Even if it costs me my life."
